On June 26th, 2023, Mr. Ruben Hernandez, doing business as Elite Comfort LLC, entered into a contract with me to install a mini-split heating/cooling system in a shop at my residence. I paid Mr. Hernandez $7000 as a down payment and to purchase the equipment. Mr. Hernandez never produced the equipment, and when asked to install the system per the contract, he said he would have to order the equipment or issue a refund. I left the choice to him, and he opted to issue a refund, which we agreed on November 13th, 2023 he would pay the refund in full by December 1st, 2003. He failed to meet that deadline. I agreed to give him till January 1st, 2024. Although some payments were made, he did not refund the balance by that date, and has been unresponsive. He has refunded $860, owing $6140.
