This company is a scam!!! ******* is absolutely rude. They send a scratch ticket in the mail and claim you won a prize but need to listen to a sales pitch so we did as my husband and I have wanted an air filtration system for a while now. When **** came he was very nice! Claimed we needed to decide then or the price goes from **** to ****. I told him I dont like making on the spot commitments and Id like to do my own research. He then told me I have nothing to lose as I have 10 days to cancel. So we signed up and I called advanpro and reliance (here in *******) for a quote on their air filtration systems and they were half the price of what eco tech was asking. When **** showed up to our house4 days later with our prize we declined the prize as we told him we were cancelling as other reliable companies sell very similar systems for **** installed (their most expensive system was ****, ranges from 895-****). **** then told us that they never claimed to be cheap and that we are paying upfront for yearly servicing which advanpro also told me was overkill. Erics demeanour did change when we told him we were cancelling probably because the company only pays him well when he sells their product. When we called ******* to book a time to have the device uninstalled she was extremely rude to my husband she told us she thinks we should pay **** for the prize as he paid for it out of pocket. We told her when didnt accept it and she said it doesnt matter and that it was rude of us to leave him high and dry like that! She then told us to turn the machine off ASAP as we have already been using it FOR FREE for 4 days. And that they were coming Wednesday at 3:30 and someone needs to be there and hung up on him. I feel like they would of 100 percent dodged us for the 10 days so we couldnt cancel but they didnt have my husbands banking info as he didnt have a blank cheque so they were coming over to get that info (drop off the prize so to speak) when we cancelled! I know for sure it would of been extremely difficult to do so if they had had that information! The installer ****** was very friendly and easy to deal with. It is too bad people like **** and ****** get caught up in devious companies like this one. I would recommend you avoid this company at all costs unless you want to over pay for a system you can get cheaper (not cheaper quality) from other well known companies ie (advanpro, reliance) who sell systems like Lennox etc. One word for the company if your company and product are so great you shouldnt need to send out a fake scratch card to pressure people in to buying your system. Then making people decide on the spot. But hey dont take my word for it read the MANY MANY bad reviews you have basically saying the same thing! Change your marketing tactic! Stop ripping people off.
