On June 18, 2021 I purchased 2 adult season passes & one child pass from RCR (Resorts of the Canadian Rockies) for a total of $753.90. Invoice #:382099). I did not purchase refund option as I have purchased season passes before & have not had any reason to ask for a refund. RCR refund policy states "Refunds for Season Passes will only be considered due to medical condition" In Sept of 2021 I had MRI on my knee as it was causing me pain, diagnostics showed torn meniscus. In Dec of 2021, the ****** **** clinic confirmed opening for surgery for Jan 19, 2022. Sent email to RCR ****************** explaining situation and that I was having surgery for my knee and that I was asking for the passes to be deferred until the next season (not asking for refund). Was advised it would take approx 8 weeks to hear back, Feb 7, was admitted to hospital for ** (********* ********* ***** **** ** *** *****). On Feb 25 received email back to advise my request was denied for the following reason " unless the refund option has been purchased at the time of pass purchase, there can be no refund or credit transfer on a season pass. As stated, in your case the refund option was not purchased and therefore there is no possibility for refund or credit. The Refund Policy is posted online as well as detailed in the waiver that is signed prior to pass pick-up. We must uphold this policy as it is stated to ensure consistency with our guests. We truly value you as a pass holder; please do not hesitate to email us if you have any further questions." Replied & no response. Dropped by office & asked that another request be submitted based on that I was in the hospital for ** and that I almost died. Waited several weeks & called in requesting to speak to the manager, each time they would tell me she was not in office & to leave an email (which I did). April 4 received response, request rejected. RCR did not offer anything. I am asking for passs to be deferred.
