      We hired style moveing to move us from the lower mainland to ******** B.C. we said we wanted everything packed for the move and was it insured they said yes. They came to pick up our stuff but did not bring a big enough truck, they said another one would come the following day which it did not. They were to deliver on the afternoon of Aug 25 th but they say they contacted the selling realtor before then and were told payment had not been recived. We took posesion as planed on the afternoon of Aug 25 th with no delivery of our stuff we phoned and they said our stuff had been put in storage it took three weeks to get them to deliver. Much of our stuff was broken and damaged. We submitted a claim form for some of the stuff and were told it would take 4-5 weeks to process. they did not contact us and I have phoned twice to no avail they have still have not replied to our claim form submission.

      I left the booking of the moving company to my husband ** * *** ******* **** ****** ******. He got a quote from Style Moving and decided to go with them. We had a 900 sq. foot condo and an 1700 sq. foot rancher, 10 minutes apart, in Abbotsford and need our stuff to go to *********, BC. The quote was for $6,500. I felt that was probably a little low and expected another 1 or 2k upon final billing. FINAL CHARGE WAS $16,500 AND THEY WOULD NOT MOVE THE TRUCK (WITH ALL OUR BELONGINGS IN IT) UNTIL WE PAID THE BILL!!!!!!!!!!!! We were just shocked and had no options but to pay the bill because new owners were taking possession of the house within hours. When they showed up in ********* it was a shit show! I packed all our items personally and used a massive amount of bubble wrap, 15 boxes of it, to wrap our glass and pottery knicknacks and kitchen ware. I have over 40 photos of broken items, irreplaceable pottery from Mexico, family heirlooms, ******* bowls, handblown glass, etc, etc all shattered. Boxes visibly crushed, all 8 chairs from our dining room set damaged, gouges in our solid wood dining table, both outdoor ********** patio storage containers crushed and not usable, everything inside both shattered, floors in our new home gouged, etc. They refused to put the boxes in the rooms they were marked to go in. They did not wear masks per Health Department mandates. So, i spent a few hours documenting all damage with pictures and descriptions, to at the minimum, receive some financial compensation via the Insurance they say they have. after about 5 weeks we received a reply stating we have a $350 deductible and the payout is based on weight. They will pay 60 cents per pound. They say our items did not weigh enough at 60 cents per pound to pay us any amount over the deductible so we would receive nothing. Further down the email they state they will give us cheque for $149.00 and it's the final offer. OVERCHARGED $10,000.00!!!!

      The condo pick up was Nov. 13/21 and the rancher pick up was Nov. 15/21.

      Not sure what you mean re; marketplace interaction.

      I filed a claim with them and they denied it Feb.5/22.

      Good day I recently paid a moving company (Styles Moving Van Lines) to move household items for me and they lost an item. They have since been in entirety unwilling and unable to retrieve the box that they lost. ***** ********** ** ********* ** ********* *********** They don't answer the phones nor reply to emails. On the odd occasion when they do answer, they are rude, they don't do what they say they will do, lie, and largely simply show no intention of helping.  I have phoned, emailed and tried every form of communication with them for 3 weeks and they are no closer to starting to look for the box that they have lost. I have a long list of emails and a phone history proving that nothing has been done and that there is a lack of any communication and shows that they are not interested in helping and looking for my items. Please help here because what is going on here is really really not ok. This is not ok.       Style moving?/ second letter of complaint; no response form this comapay To whom it may concern!!! My complaint outlined, my concerns with the process that took place on the 30th October. I was sent a quote on the 12th October, which was incorrect, 2 bed apartment. Told the sales rep, who then sent me another moments later. My home is a 3 bedroom town house. No furniture to move only two beds, with packed boxes in the basement, however kitchen to be packed. Asked for packing to be done! ** * ** ********* ** ********* ** ** ******** ********** The moves that came where I’ll equipped to services, the move. Also 7pm on the 30th October, was inconvenient for me. Had to, call friends to come over to help. Movers told us that they were told that it was a 2 bed apartment. Did not have materials, ie cloth racks. Movers also told us that they had not slept for30hrs, when we heard this, it was disturbing, and unforgivably, giving such a high stress situation. Received a call on the 29th November, from a storage unit company to say that i would be charged, for storage from 1st December. I did also get a invoice In November, which quoted 3 times the estimate. At this point, I was very perplexed, and disappointed. One understands that my quote was an estimate, so was more than willing too pay more, but not three times more. With that been said! At this juncture, and with the advise of counsel. If i do not receive, a response or some attempt to resolve this situation, i will take civil litigation forward.       I am in completely disarray with the company Style Moving. I first booked with them November 3, 2021 and gave an initial deposit of $200 dollars. ***** ******* ** ******** **** ** **** *** ***, I inquired with the sales associate Mara, if these complaints held clout. Mara, who was handled my file, assured me that everything was sorted with these customers, no damage would be done and that any damage would be covered and insured. I gave a distinct list of all my items, including all the large items. I even weighted them myself and created a document with all heavy items. I was then quoted $845 dollars. My items were picked up December 17th. I was told that I would be charged an additional $200 dollars for picking up my items because it would be more than "100" feet. It was not, I had measured it myself but they did not agree. I paid them despite my good conscience. After not hearing from them for a two weeks, I get an email asking for $3800 dollars, that was astronomically over the quoted price. They asked to have the amount e-transfer. I said, that was out of the question and that having it e-transfer would not protect me and furhter I was initially quoted $845 dollars. I asked to see the actual weight of my items and proof, and they ignored the quest. I emailed them, I called them, and was treated so rudely and poorly. I was called crazy. They had argued that I agreed to pay with e-transfer, which I did not. No where does it say that in the contract and I have ever document provided. I would not have agreed to have given I would be protected by ****. I have shown them several contracts that I have signed that did not ask for e-transfer. When I finally received my items, they had broken pieces of furniture, scratched surfaces, broken boxes that were in complete disarray. I emailed immediately requesting remuneration. Nothing. It's been nearly two weeks of no response.

      Move from Calgary to Montréal. We agreed to an original quote with Mara in Vancouver for a total of $1045 The movers showed kind of on time (2.5 hours late but that's expected with moving companies so we didn't care too much) It left, the guys were caring enough we weren't too worried. Between Xmas and New year we got an email saying our things were at the warehouse and we needed to pay before reception. They sent us a first invoice when our shipment arrived that was more than 3 times the original quoted price. I told Josh from admin it was impossible since we had a 1 bedroom appartment with no furniture. The invoice said Minimum weight 1000 LBS $700.00 + Additional Weight 2500 LBS @ $0.65 (impossible since we had no mattress, no desk, no dining table, no bedroom furniture, no couch) + surcharge and all the things we agreed to on top for a total of $3269.68 I asked them to revise saying there must have been a mistake on our invoice. They then revised the invoice Minimum weight 1000 LBS $700.00 Additional Weight 1100 LBS @ $0.65 Plus originally discussed fees for a total of $2256.53 I told Josh it was still too high and impossible to reach that amount with the amount of stuff we had. He responded saying it was now calculated in Volume (Cubic Feet) ??! Out of the blue. This was NEVER discussed with us in any steps of the process. We were never QUOTED for Volume, only for weight. It does say in the fine prints but nothing mentions the price per CUBE or a maximum volume to avoid being overcharged. We asked to be able to go to the Montreal Storage to assess and then pay whatever we owe. We don’t know what kind of state our items are in. They refuse to let us go up there to see our shipment before we pay. After reading the reviews and speaking with josh from admin, we are afraid everything will be destroyed. We do not refuse to pay we just want it to be fair and what we agreed to with our things in good condition.

      I booked a move with Tom. The price he quoted on the email was different that the price he gave me after I gave him my credit card. When I confronted him he tried to play **** "oh I thought we discussed that". Tried calling him and was hung up on twice. I am now looking for a new moving company.

      We according to our internal investigation, our booking coordinator sent you quote and per the quote there was fuel charge. Furthermore, quote and booking confirmation clearly states that deposits are non-refundable.

      You called and was very ********** demanding we cancel the move and to give you refund. You and your partner kept calling our booking coordinator and *********** him.

      Unfortunately, please check your email read everything clearly before you purchase a move.

      I used this company for my move from Toronto to Calgary; not only have they conveniently “lost” the most valuable items (a box with smart home devices, new shoes/clothes and a racing bicycle), but also it’s virtually impossible to get ahold of them, all calls are either ignored or hung up on me.
