I ordered a gasket assembly for my refrigerator door on 7/23/24. It was supposed to replace my original installed on my door. The part was thinner Than my original part and didn't work as well as the original. I gave the company my reason for returning the part and I paid $11.40 for return shipping on 8/1/24. On 8/13/24 I received an email stating my credit card would be credited. On 9/2/24 I went online to pay my credit card bill I saw that I didn't have a credit on my statement. I immediately called the company. The lady that answered my call looked up my transaction and correspondence. She told me that in her opinion the return should have been classified as defective and she would have classified it as such. She said she would contact the office and find out what would be done. She said that she would email me the following evening, 9/3/24. I didn't receive an email so I called this morning and there was an automated service that said that there was no one to answer my call. The purchased item was not damaged in any way and I followed the directions for the return precisely. The total cost with tax was $131.61. As stated previously I paid $11.40 to ship it back to the company.
