In august of 2023 I was shopping for a car. I was looking at a car on the Car Clubs website. I found a car I liked the look of and did on online quote/application for this car. I was contacted by a sales person from The Car Club following this. I went into the car club to go over the car and see it in person. We then spoke numbers and the sales person gave me a quote on what payments would be. After reviewing the numbers I decided to not go with that car. Over a couple of days I got cars sent to me and approx monthly payments would be for them. I did not think at the time that they were running my credit each time. Im currently looking for a new home, after speaking with a mortgage broker, I was informed my credit score is extremely low and that it had been hit 15-18 times for car loans and it has greatly impacted my credit score. I have reached out to car club to have them reverse/remove these hits as it is drastically effecting my credit score, leaving me with not being able to apply for a mortgage or even rent a house. This has completely affected me and ruined my credit. I explained this to the car club for them to tell me they will not help me, they will not reverse the inquiries on my credit score because i came in for a preapproval. I have approval for ONE car and they hit me 10+ times, with some of them being the same company multiple times. All I want is the inquiries to me credit score be reversed so it can correct my credit score.

Firstly, I would like to express that customer satisfaction is out upmost priority.  Unfortunately if someone applies for financing, we will do our best to get them the best interest rate.  That being said, ****** tried to get financing at multiple locations after us.  We did NOT inquire "10+ times" as disclosed.  We did try her a 4 banks to get her the best possible interest rate.  Following us, she shopped at 3 other dealerships, and they shopped her credit as well.

There is no way for us to remove an inquiry, as it has to do with the credit bureau.

A credit score is not just based on inquiries.  It is based on the payment history of your tradelines on the credit bureau.  It is also based on your credit balances, and amounts.

      I hope this explanation help,

      ***** *******

I am rejecting this response because: I did not shop at multiple car dealer ships after this. They ran it more than 4 times.

I purchased a car from them and during the buying process they sold me a warranty that was not very clear what it covered, I specifically asked the salesman what was covered he told me word for word the everything was covered bumper to bumper and that quote " i can drive the shit out of it for 5 years or 160 000 km, and everything was covered, powertrain and transmission to light bulbs and switches. Come to find out by the company that sells the warranty that those are not in fact covered and my salesman's should have made that clear during the sale, and my questioning of what was covered. Now I have a transmission issue and instead of resolving the lying and deceit they done to sell me the first car he tries to sell me another car at an exaggerated price and give me nothing for the 1st car I purchased. I would not have paid 4000 for a warranty that covers nothing, the warranty on my truck was half that price and covers the truck from bumper to bumper. When I went back to complain and the answer my salesman's gives me after talking to the manager is that " I thought it was covered, and I was new at the time, and I thought for that price I just assumed it was covered. " Now I want them to fix the transmission, or give me full value on my current car as if nothing was wrong with it, in exchange I'll buy something from them, or I want the full refund for the warranty that was sold fraudulently to myself, with lies and deceitful tactics.

      To Whom it may concern,

We are in receipt of Mr ********'s complaint and have taken action. Extended warranties never cover everything on a vehicle. Even new vehicle warranties do nt cover everything and are subject to certain conditions like maintaining your vehicle and keeping proof of such maintenance.

We have reached out to Mr. ******** to discuss options with little success. We have requested that he provide maintenance records as per hi warranty agreement so that we can advocate to get the issue covered, but to date have not received anything form him. We have also asked him to come in so that we can offer trade in alternatives that may satisfy him.

Other than offer to get his vehicle covered under the warranty subject to him having done the required oil changes to maiontain his vehicle, and pay an over value amount to satisfy him on a trade in for another vehicle, there is nothing more we can do.

The first step would be for Mr. ******** to communicate with us to achieve an end or resolution. However to date he will not respond to attempted calls from management.

      Complaint: 20624975

I am rejecting this response because: They were aware the warranty didn't cover anything however they lied to me and said it was, when confronted with the issue they admitted that I was mis-informed and when I went to them for a resolution all they did was add what was owed from the nissan (the broken one) with a severely undervalued estimate, and added to the price of a new car.

I want the car to be valued as if there is nothing wrong with it, all oil changes and maintenance was completed when required, and that has nothing to do with the fact that they lied to me, and falsely made claims that were not true after I specifically asked the questions.  I would have never purchased that warranty unless it did cover bumper to bumper as they claimed it did, and if they would not have lied to me the car would not have any transmission issues because I would have gotten it repaired under the cars warranty, the one that I purchased where they said it was all covered.

      Resolution here is simple.

So this is what I would possibly accept after consultations:

They  can take the car back, give me the max trade in value as it would sit with no issues, no problems, trade for something of my choice.
or you can repair the car and I take it somewhere else to trade
or you give me the money back for the warranty that I clearly would have never bought in the first place knowing the price, and I will fix it using that money and trade it in.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ********

We are currently in communication with this client.  However we do maintain our position as we have from the beginning, in effect, we sold a reliable vehicle with a valid warranty.  As always we strive for a relentless pursuit of a satisfied customer, and will continue to communicate with this client until we can reach a satisfactory resolution for all.

      Thank you

I had a defective tire with a tire bulge that had to be changed out. I was promised since this was a defect to have this changed for free and instead got charged for the new tire and the install. That is pure lies and very dishonest. It's not the first time these people lie to me. I need some kind of money back for this since I was promised a free tire by the service guy.

      Hello,

When Mr. ******* first reached out to our service advisor, he mentioned he had a bulge in the tire and a vibration.  The service advisor booked him an appointment so we could look at the car.  At this time Mr. ******* kept insinuating that the tire was a defect.

When the vehicle arrived at our location, the mechanic inspected the vehicle and discovered a damaged rim and tire.  Mr. ******* admitted to us that he hit a pothole.  The rim had to be sent out and repaired, as well as a new tire had to be ordered.

After the work was completed, Mr. ******* left with his car,  quickly returning to our location.  He stated there was still a vibration.  After further inspection of the rear tires it was noticed that there is a couple small bulges on the inside of the tire from the same side as the other tire.  This was also caused by the pot hole.  Mr. ******* has an appt to get this tire fixed on May 16th at his expense.

Mr. ******* was made aware that he should attempt to go through his insurance, but declined that option.  We also mentioned going to the city to get compensation, but he thought it would be too tedious of a task.

Unfortunately as he hit a pothole the tires in question cannot be claimed as defective, as it is damage caused by the pothole.

      Thanks,

      *****

Our company policy is the we do not keep anyone's deposit if they choose to cancel.  I was unaware of this issue and would gladly refund this client if they would like to contact me personally.  It is unfortunate that the client had to contact you to get in touch.  Please have them contact me so that I can get this taken care of immediately.

      Thank you
