Awful customer service, someone on their end had switch our business account to PAPERLESS without any authorization from us, we don't even have an online account set up. I called to have it switched back to paper invoice mailed to the address on file and they REFUSED unless the person who is on the account calls AND THEY DONT EVEN WORK HERE ANYMORE. They actively make it difficult to just pay the bill and charge late fees for their mistakes.

High priced Internet compared to prices in for similar services in the lower-48. Speed paid for is not what is received. Internet goes out frequently

I had a landline with GCI. The voicemail only worked once in about 8 years, but I dealt with that. Then my phone quit working. **************** Reps in another country answer the calls. Some of them I couldn't understand. It sounded like they would read out of a manual, telling me all kinds of things that did not pertain to me, like how much it cost to make a payment over the phone. This would go on and on as I told them I didn't care about all that. I just wanted my phone to work. Because of the extreme stress of trying to deal with someone I didn't understand, I decided to switch to ******* switched to ACS, they came out and fixed the phone. ACS told me on two different phone calls that they would cancel my service with GCI. I kept getting emails from GCI, telling me they were going to be charging for my next month. I would respond, saying I didn't have service with them anymore. Almost 2 months after switching to ****** called GCI to make sure my service was cancelled. They said it wasn't, but they would make it official as of the day I called. I just wanted to be rid of them. A few days later my phone quit working again. I called ACS. They said GCI put in an order to be my service provider but they hadn't completed the process. I called GCI. They said they would not have done that, but obviously they did. In order to keep the same phone number (which is on everything I have to have a phone number connected to), I would have to complete the order to sign up with GCI and pay for a month. GCI does not prorate. So, right now, my phone does not work and GCI is holding my phone number hostage until I have signed up with them, which I did, because I need that phone number. And I specifically, officially cancelled with them several days before. They had also been cancelled 2 months before. What will keep them from taking my service back again when I switch back to GCI?! Is it legal to hold a phone number hostage?

I'm currently paying for internet speeds of "up to 500mbps" I'm receiving about 90mbps. I've made 10 attempts to get GCI to resolve this issue with 0 progress. Phone calls and in store visits. I am paying for a service that I'm not getting.

Would give 0. Apparently GCI doesnt spend a fraction of what theyre charging customers to even train their customer service reps based on a recent conversation with a rep when I asked a question she rudely interrupted and wouldnt let me finish. And when I asked for a supervisor she informed me she was and as someone whos worked for TOP telecommunications companies throughout the country the display or lack there of in professionalism and mannerisms tells me everything I need to know about this company. CHEERS ***** OUT OF *********. I hope you see this and someone teaches you extremely basic manners and how to speak to a person.

Biggest price gougers for internet in anywhere, they charge 179.99$/ month for 1gb internet, 100$ over the national average, also their lowest speed costs nearly 7$above the national average for 1gb, is not unlimited, and has a speed of 100mb.IF YOU READ THIS: DO NOT EVER GIVE THESE B******* YOUR MONEY.I WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR A DECADE AND THEY GAVE ME SUCH A HARD TIME FOR NEEDING TO DISCONNECT IT FOR BEING TOO EXPENSIVE. THE PERSON WHO TOOK MY CANCELLATION CALL STRAIGHT UP MOCKED ME FOR SAYING $180 A MONTH WAS TOO F****** EXPENSIVE.MOVE OUT OF STATE BEFORE YOU GIVE THESE DIRTY BILGE-RAT ****** ONE DOLLAR.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD ******** OR TRUST GCI!!!!I have downloaded the ******** app on my Amazon Fire Stick and have not been pleased at all. I was told that I would be able to have a total of 4 devices connected to the app. Out of the blue, a message popped up on my third and last tv that was connected saying that we had to many devices connected. I called and asked how to fix the issue, but I was forced to get a third tv added to the plan for the extra device, but that was not free like it should have been. THEY WANT TO CHARGE 10 EXTRA DOLLARS!!! This is ridiculous that they want to charge that amount when I am not even getting the service I am already paying for. DO NOT DOWNLOAD ********!!! IT IS A HUGE SCAM!!! Their recording service is a joke!!!

Like many people, I have had nothing but bad experiences with GCI's ********* First, many of the remote of the first streaming box did not work. The replacement streaming box came without batteries. Three of the channels that I watched were moved to ********* For the first 3 months, about a quarter of the programs could not be recorded on Create. Recorded programs were unwatchable due to GCI deleting them, the program was audio only with frozen video or I would receive the "Error Code 700" message for *********** recordings. GCI has never explained why the Error Code 700 nor given a fix time. Since January, I could watch only about three-quarters of a recording before receiving an message the rest of the recording was unavailable. Also, ******** was unresponsive from dinner time to bed time. I have complained about all the issues repeatedly. GCI's response has been to unplug and disconnect everything, told me to be patient or no response at all. GCI seemed more concerned with my PIN or phone number than solving the problem. When I could not access ******** on 1/30, I told GCI to turn off ********* GCI would not credit me for the remainder of the month. Nor will GCI adjust my **** from Total to Plus as the Total channels that I watched on TiVo are no longer available on TiVo. A formal appeal was filed on 2/23 and I was told I would hear back in 5-7 business day. To date (3/30), I have not heard back. Lastly, I have had THREE tech support visits to solve my issues with ********, but they were unable to solve the problems. Is GCI hurting for money that they continue to over charge for a product they cannot delivery?
