Dear ***/*****,
I am writing to file a formal complaint against my landlord, [********'s Name], who manages the property located at *****************************************************************************. The issue at hand involves the unjustified withholding of my security deposit in the amount of $1,800.00, which was retained under false pretenses.Upon vacating the property on June 30, 2024, I ensured that the premises were left in a clean and satisfactory condition, adhering to the terms of our lease agreement. Despite this, my landlord has refused to return my deposit, claiming it an health hazard and "super Nasty" which is not the case.I have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with *************************** providing evidence that refutes their claims, including videos of when I moved out and pictures. Despite my efforts, *************************** has failed to return the deposit or provide a valid explanation for its retention. In light of this situation, I am seeking the assistance of the Better Business Bureau to address this dispute and facilitate the return of my deposit. Enclosed are copies of all relevant documents, including the lease agreement, move-out inspection report, and any correspondence with ***************************.I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and any support you can provide in helping me achieve a fair resolution.Thank you for your assistance.Sincerely,
