The business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer either a) did not accept the response, OR b) did not notify BBB as to their satisfaction.

I paid $1,890 deposit Tuesday February 8th for an apartment. I reached back out Thursday to get a refund because we had an emergency and couldn't get the apartment anymore. The lady I spoke to said that the person working on my paperwork was not in but I had 48 hours to get a refund. She told me to call the following morning and ley ******* know I did call within my 24 hours but she was unavailable. So I called the next Morning and explained everything. She told me i ONLY HAD 24 HOURS to get a refund. She agreed to give me some type of check next week but said that she was keeping $250 dollars of it. I have not signed a lease, or put my name on one peace of paper. All I did was fill out an application fee. I have not seen an apartment at all. I have nothing against the staff, but I wanted to know 2 things. Why am I having to wait until next week to get a check when I told them it was an emergency. Secondly, why am I losing $250.
