I enrolled with Official Pro Smiles online teeth whitening course on march 31, 2023 I completed the online course within a few days, I was shocked how poorly it was put together and to my surprise I had to print my own black and white, unprofessional looking certificate. There were no quizzes or test on the online course. In my opinion it's not a good quality program, there are no steps in *******'s program you are left clueless. For those of you that are considering an online teeth whitening course make sure your instructor knows the rules, regulations, and laws. With that being said, I enrolled in another teeth whitening course due to being very disappointed and left with many questions as to what I could legally do with my teeth whitening technician certificate. My new instructor was shocked that I received 35% hydrogen peroxide and a gingival gum barrier in my kit (both must be under the supervision of a dentist/or on call in a controlled setting or facility) ******* has informative videos on teeth whitening. I was told I must stay within the legal range of 16% hydrogen peroxide with my certificate, unless under the supervision of a dentist. In terms of touching your customers mouth that is considered practicing dentistry without a license. It could've been a potential setup for a legal disaster. I technically should not touch any customers mouths. My instructor informed me, I must follow the self-administered process. The customer does all the work, I am there to guide them not touch any part of their mouth. Please, if you are considering taking a teeth whitening course, do your research and make sure your instructor is training you legally. I'm $600- out which doesn't matter, I'm here so others don't make the same awful mistake I made. We all work hard to be SCAMMED out of our money and receive a fake certificate.
