Would give 0 stars if I could. I came in to get a quote on my 2010 liberty jeep it wasnt riding smooth and seen Pinkys has good reviews. I brought codes that autozone gave me **** the owner said no problem theyre going to take a look at it. They did an inspection and replaced all 3 spark wires they test drove it and said the radiator was getting hot and is leaking recommended me getting it replaced so I said okay it was good for a week. I paid about 1000 for the work it got. I was going places not far but then I went on the highway and my liberty jeep broke down. I barely got it into a parking lot when it didnt wanna go at all anymore I had to push it to park then I got it towed again to Pinkys to see what the problem was. **** the owner called me and said it was the top head of the catalytic converter that broke and made the inside of the engine rot so estimate 3500 for the head or 5000 for a whole new engine. I told **** its okay Ill just get it towed back to my house and he had the audacity to ask me if I wanted the jeep back together since he took it apart to inspect. I told him I wanted it back in one piece as I left it he said okay but it is undrivable. Like yeah I wants it all in pieces right? Anyways My question is when Pinkys did the inspection the first time wouldnt they have seen something wrong w the engine or catalytic converter? Even **** was like idk how that happened. Now I have no car and down 1000$ because Pinkys did a s*** job fixing my vehicle go somewhere else and save your money. Before I brought my car in to get fixed atleast it drove now its UNDRIVABLE!

I would like to say first of all that I understand your frustration ********. You brought your vehicle to our shop and said the check engine light was on and it was running very rough. We inspected and found you had an engine misfire due to a faulty ignition coil and spark plug wire. We recommended to replace the one ignition coil and all 3 spark plug wires. You gave authorization to replace the spark plug wires and coil. We noticed that the vehicle was running hot and you had not said anything about it running hot. We found that the radiator had been leaking coolant and recommended to replace the radiator and you also gave authorization to replace that radiator and we did. We then test drove the vehicle approx 8 miles and verified the vehicle was running as designed and no longer overheating. One week later, you called and stated that the vehicle was not running properly and not driveable. You had the vehicle towed in and we found that something came apart internally on passenger side of engine. We removed the valve cover off of the cylinder head and found the passenger side cylinder head broke/cracked where cylinder #4 lifter sits in the cylinder head. The cylinder head must be replaced at the very least. I gave you a price to repair your engine or replace your engine. You told me you would call me back and let me know what you would like to do. You did not call me back, but you called to have our tow truck company tow your vehicle out of the shop. I then called you and verified that you were having it towed out of the shop. I asked if you wanted the engine put back together before they towed it out. You informed me that you did want it assembled back and we did assemble it back together. We did not charge anything for checking out the problem on the second time the vehicle was brought to us. We could not foresee any other problems with your vehicle when you left the first time. If we knew that the cylinder head was going to fail we would have never recommended any of the repairs that we performed on your first visit.
