Bad Business and deceptive practices. This could have been a good experience, but it has let a bad taste in my mouth.I called Truck Access Plus to see if they had a truck cover for my year , make and model, and if they can install same day. ****** assured me they did and i came down for the install. I asked if this particular model truck cover had a lock, he said yes it comes with a lock. Awesome, the out the door price was around $418.First Red Flag During the installation , he said they didn't have the lock for the cover, but a new shipment would come in and he will call me. Ok, i thought to myself, why would they be installing the bed, without a lock, as i couldn't lock my valuables up and etc. against my better judgement, I took them i would return when they had the lock.Second Red Flag I come back for the install, and he saids the lock is defective, no fault of theirs, but its annoying i had to come back and wait only to be told, the lock is defective. So my truck bed is still at risk for theft, and not completely operable.Third Red Flag I get a text from ****** letting me know they received the lock and come back for the install. OK, this is my third time here now and i am expecting this to be over and done with. I let ****** know the bed liner is tearing/ripping and he looks at it and saids its just outside of its grooves, and they would fix it. Ok , as im waiting on my truck he saids the lock is $99. I said what, you told me it comes with the bed cover, he said no, there is a misunderstanding. I said yes there is, i wouldn't have bought a bed cover and waited 3 weeks just to be told there is an additional charge for the lock, that makes no sense. So ******* brother saids well if you have a disagreement then we can uninstall everything and give you a refund. i agreed, i find it highly unprofessional after waiting all tis time just to be baited and switched, totally unethical.You don't forget to invoice a customer 3x, if you knew what you were doing.

Hello Tris i am not quite sure how many times I need to repeat myself that i never told you that the tonneau cover you were getting comes with a lock. Your 20 year old truck doesn't come with a tailgate lock which is how the tonneau cover locks. So I made it clear that a tailgate lock needed to be added. Stop wasting your time and telling yourself I told you that the cover comes with a tailgate lock for $418 out the door. We can confidently say we know exactly what we are doing with the *****+ satisfied customer base we have built over the last 25 years.Never once did we mention the tonneau cover comes with a tailgate lock.It is clear that your understanding of what is stock on your truck and what you had in mind to secure your truck bed are far from realistic. Anyone with a little common sense when it comes to mechanics would understand how a tonneau cover doesn't come with a tailgate lock. In simpler terms a locker at the gym does not come with a lock nor does a door at ********** or even a tool box.For the record it is clearly stated on the invoice that every product installed is subject to 25% restock fee and labor is non-refundable but we also take responsibility for not putting the lock on the original invoice when you bought the cover. We apologize you have wasted a couple hours of your time trying to save a hundred dollars and perhaps next time you will be better of doing more research.
