I am a cancer patient who paid 2k for a wig that was nothing like what I told ******** wanted. I had to make a decision based on pictures because she had nothing in store. Every picture she sent me was nothing like what I told her I wanted. I made the mistake of agreeing to one of the wigs she suggested and paid her upfront. I quickly advised her that I had changed my mind about the wig and wanted to continue looking. The fact that I had already paid her put me at a disadvantage. She continued to send me pictures of wigs that were the wrong color, wrong style. Out of desperation because I had already lost my hair, I accepted her last suggestion and do I regret it. The so called human hair wig has an unnatural looking hairline BECAUSE IT'S NOT LACE FRONT WHICH IS A MUST FOR A NATURE LOOKING HAIRLINE. FURTHERMORE, IT HAS THE MOST UNATTRACTIVE SHARP LAYERS AND HAIR FEELS AND LOOKS SYNTHETIC. Now II have to borrow money to buy a another wig. I feel ripped off.

Creative Hair Extensions & Wigs Response

I have volunteered for the ******** ****** ******* as an Educator. I deal with a lot of clients going through chemo and the types of wigs needed are different. This client came into my salon wanting a wig that looks exactly like her hair. She had a long list of requirements that she could not afford. The first wigs she tried on were in her price range she change her mind and restated her wish list. She was willing to go up in the amount from $1,000. She asked me to look for others, I told her we have to go to the Raquel Welch Black Label and have to order it. This is a higher price point but she wanted to stay under $2,000 after over two weeks of text and phone calls, she realized she could not afford her wish list which was between 3,000 to 4,500. She made her choice based on her Financial limits and chose the layer wig. I also did not deposit her initial deposit check for that two-week timeline until she made up her mind. She knew the wig had layers which she saw in the pictures. if she had purchased the exact wig online she would’ve been looking at the same pictures I gave her. The supplier had no dark color so I told her we will have to color it to her black color which I only charged her $80. she was complaining about money and she’s a cancer patient, so I went out of my way and did not charge her the money for the fitting or the haircut. That was two more hours of my time I gave to her. I charge $100 an hour. I also offered her a half pack of long hair at cost and and my per hour fee to add in more hair. The layers of the hair cannot be seen because the hair texturized for blending the layers seamlessly. I went out of my way to help this customer and in the end, I even sent her the online pricing for the product which I should have charged her the in-store pricing instead of giving her a deal on the hairpiece. After I’ve done all of this, she decided after she took it home, I don’t like the layers can I return it? If you order hair or hairpieces online and open them you cannot return them. This is a policy with in-store also. You cannot return used altered products. I am thinking about suing this client for libel because of what she has written online about my business. This is a complete fabrication of the events that happened, I have all the text messages.
