I bought a Pontiac SUV on April 14th for *******, 3 days later i took it back about a brake problem. There was a mechanism behind the brake pedal that was vibrating when i had my foot on it. First a salesman test drove it and then someone they called their mechanic test drove it. They both told me they didnt know what i was talking about. They each took 3 test drives and continued to say there was nothing wrong. The mechanic took all 4 tires off to look for a possible repair and said nothing was found. He was a shabby dirty man who looked like he slept in bushes at night, he had old torn up shoes with no socks or laces on, his pants were 2 sizes 2 big and didnt match his shirt. I would guess he didnt have an auto mechanics license or any auto mechanics training at all. I left there on was very short on gas because they used over a 1/4 tank test driving it which disturbs me. I didnt drive the car after that for several days in wait for the registration and tag. On April 30 the car was leaking water but i didnt think too much about it but i checked the overflow bottle and it was fine. 2weeks later my devoted mechanic looked at it and said i had a cracked head gasket. Do you know what that means? it means the car is shot!! My brother kept reminding me we signed an AS IS document. He was the buyer and i am the owner. I have never been so devastated in my life. Is it because we're seniors that they might have instigated a scam ? The day i was there for the brakes they were in the office whispering and jumped up when i opened the door. I realized they werent going to do anything more for me and left. My suspicions are that they knew it had problems but I signed something about accepting the AS IS clause under manipulated instructions by the salesman. I called them and spoke to *** on May 2nd and all he did was argue with me and interrupt me so i hung up. We want people to be aware of this organization and do not do business with them.
