            When I went to this doctors office I had nothing but issues, I waited months for them to do a prior authorization they never did. I called weekly if not daily asking them to do the prior authorization and they would not. The BIG issue is, they did blood work on me and DID NOT tell me they'd be sending it to quest diagnosed and that I would be charged a large amount for it. They did the same blood test on me TWICE within two weeks of each other with no explanation or reasoning why. Again nothing was ever communicated with me through this whole process. Not only that but they put the wrong code on the blood work. I have been trying to get them to now change the code, after everything I have been through with them I do not have faith it will happen.

            I had an appointment with Dr. Fisseha this afternoon. Her office called me at 8 am this morning and cancelled my appointment, telling me that she no longer takes my insurance. I have been a patient of hers since January and have seen her twice. My partner has an upcoming appointment with her and has the same insurance and no one has notified her (and she had seen her only weeks ago). The office told me the scheduler was unaware that she dropped our insurance. Dr. Fisseha is the only psychiatrist in the practice. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. The office did let me know that even though they cancelled by appointment I will likely be getting a bill for today's services that I will need to contest. Again, wildly unprofessional.
