On Friday February 24, 2023 I went on Srixon's website to look at golf clubs. When I went to the irons I was looking at they were advertised for 50% off (Arccos Discount). I purchased a set of clubs for $655.74 using my checking account debit card. Srixon immediately debit my account in the amount of $655.74 pre-authorization. I then got a receipt for this transaction with my order #DSA-00034165. I called about this transaction and was told their was a problem with my card I told no their wasn't because the transaction has been debited from my account (emailed a screenshot of my checking account showing the debit. Now Srixon says their was an error on their part and their going to refund my money. I asked to speak with management and they wouldn't allow that. Today is Wednesday March 1, 2023 Srixon has tied up $655.74 since Fri. Feb. 24th from my checking account. I just want them to do the right thing by honoring the online transaction and quit giving me the runaround. Thank You For Your Help.Business response

Dear BBB,
What ************** described in his complaint is accurate, we did have an error on our website that allowed consumers to place orders at a 50% discount. Once the error was corrected, Srixon, refunded ****************** credit card. Customer Experience personnel followed up with ************** on *********************** provided a detail explanation of the website problem and provided ************** a 50% discount code to use to re-place his order.
Later that day Customer Experience personnel followed up with an email to Mr. ****** in regard to the above-described telephone call and asking, if you are satisfied with the resolution and if there is anything else we can do to assist you!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
