If I could give 0 stars I would. I received a call from Guardian Tax back in September 2024. After much reservation I signed up with *****. He had me sign all these documents and wanted to make sure I made the payments on time in order for them to start working on my tax debt. He said because I was in a financial situation due to a worker comp injury he would get me a deal on the initial price for them to start working. That was a lie. They charge the same amount to everyone they try to scam. $595.00 Im on a fixed limited income right now and they had me pay the $595 within 1 month. ***** finally reached out to me via text message which is the only way they communicate with you to set up a call with me to go over everything on 10/30/24. He didnt even call me at the agreed time but almost a hour later I received another text from him saying he was preparing for my phone call and would call me soon. What the hell? Shouldnt you prepare for that before the call? Again keep in mind they took $595 from me and never once spoke to the *** or did any investigation into my debt. Then it took me to reach out to them to find out what was going on with my case. Supposedly I qualified for some program that would cost me another $3500 and they tried convincing me to put it on a credit card so they could get it working on my case faster. They did absolutely no investigation from the ***. In fact they hadnt even spoken with the *** regarding my debt. All they did was take my money and then ask for more. I expect a full refund of my $595 because they are a complete fraud. I will definitely be contacting the BBB and making an official complaint with them as well. They have had over 30 complaints within the last 2 years in regards to taking money from people and not providing them with a service. Do not give them your money. Im fighting to get my $595 back from them. Theres no such program that the *** approves you for with this company. They are a complete scam! Do not call GT!
