Management has been the worst I have ever experienced. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone from the leasing office. Between calls, emails, and stopping in, no one is ever available. The phone lines dont work. The manager gave me her direct line which is not even in service. They applied multiple charges after move out which could not be disputed because I could not get ahold of anyone. When I thought all the charges were done, more charges came through a month after I moved out. Apparently, I forfeited my security deposit? There was no explanation for the charges. Management itself changed too many times to count throughout my one year I was there. Each and every manager was run down, overwhelmed, and unable to improve the community. A new manager then takes on the position and ends up quitting within a few months because it is just that bad. The hot tub never once worked. The pool was always closed for maintenance or some other reason. You cannot use the lobby space because the door is locked when they are out of the office which is all of the time. Also, when I required someones name to be taken off my lease due to safety, they dismissed it and never followed up. When I attempted to follow up multiple times, I could not contact them or they said they would look into it but nothing ever happened. I was forced to stay in an unsafe situation due to the incompetence of this apartment/management. There were also many issues with them promising me one unit and one price prior to move in, and I received the unit I did not want and the price that was not promised. The list goes on, but this was the worst experience Ive ever had in renting and customer service. Forget about contacting regional management or corporate. Their representatives are just as horrible and impossible to contact. This was not a pleasant experience, and there is a lot of work to be done at Addison Place before it is considered a trustworthy community.Review from Very D

I was approved online at ***** ******************** Apartments, paid my deposits online, and received confirmation for a specific apartment to be moved into by Aug 7 (grad school starting Aug 19.) to finalize my plans for moving from ** to **. I was awaiting a lease from ***** ******************** to furnish to my third party as I am a recipient of a scholarship. The staff said my so-called approved apartment wasn't available any longer (false advertising, gave my apartment to someone else due to mismanagement and disorganization or elite preferences over-ride), so I waited for an alternative apartment to what I originally selected online. Multiple phone calls, emails, voicemails, and ***** ******************** failed to deliver what was promised. I never got a lease to furnish to my third party for my housing scholarship. Due to ***** ********************'s incompetence and failure to follow through on agreed timelines, I lost my scholarship and housing for the Fall ************************************************************************ a certain timeline. Then, on my move-in date, Aug 7, the Director had the audacity to leave a negative message as if I was out of compliance because I failed to show up on the move-in date when ***** ******************** failed to deliver lease documents, failed to return any of my prior phone calls, emails, and voicemails and as a result, I lost my scholarship!!! When I finally got the Director at ***** ******************** on a call, her response was, "There are no words." Did anyone at ***** ******************** offer me support, an alternative offer, a discount, a future apartment by a future date, or a resolution of any kind? NO, ***** ******************** Apartments failed on all accounts and offered zero resolution. The director promised me a refund of my deposits within seven days, but it took ***** ******************** 3 months to return my deposits after I sent demanding emails from legal counsel and multiple phone calls for three months. If there was an option to give a negative review under 1 star, that is how I would rate ***** ******************** Apartments.Review from Courtney B

Living at Apex Manayunk has been the worst living situation I have ever been in. It was awful from the very beginning. I moved in to a filthy apartment the day my lease started. My feet were completely black from walking around on the floors. There was mold growing on the grout in the bathroom. The vinyl flooring was peeling in places. There were holes in the carpet. The previous tenant had painted a wall black and the management company painted one coat of white paint back over it. They patched holes with spackle and then didnt sand or paint over it. During the winter, I had condensation build on my windows. I was told this was normal. Weeks later I had mold growing on my wall around the window. Their solution was to spray bleach on the wall. My dishwasher filter needed to be cleaned out but I couldnt figure out how to take it apart. I put in a maintenance request and their solution to that was I needed to run my dishwasher more frequently. The maintenance man told me never in his life had he cleaned out a filter in a dishwasher. There was also mold growing on the walls in the hallway. One day we got really bad rain and the ceiling in the gym started leaking. It was never fixed. My mailbox lock was changed with notifying me. It took several weeks before I could get a new key. When I moved out, they charged me a cleaning fee even though I cleaned and left it cleaner than I had found it.Review from Bonnie T

Spyglass at ********** in *********************** is owned by Two Coast Living. This place is a glorified slum. We have regular sewage leaks, some of the buildings have mold issues, repairs are not made in a timely manner, and two Coast does nothing but increase rent and expenses with no plan to fix anything. Several buildings have **** growing on the roofs, the gazebo in the common area has holes in the roof and is infested with pests, building numbers are falling off of the buildings along with several other issues throughout the property. Two Coast Living has been made aware by maintenance personnel of the sewer issues and has ignored them. We have now been without water for nearly a week with no timeline on when the repairs will be made and the interim property manager on site has a terrible attitude about it. No offers have been made to put anyone up in a hotel. Instead, the expense was passed off to us residents with recommendation to reach out to our renters insurance to see if they will cover a hotel stay. The manner which two Coast living increases rent is by leaving a notice on your door with the increased rent amount and a 15-day window to make a decision on whether or not you're going to sign a new lease at that amount or move. If a new lease is not signed within those 15 days the rate goes even higher. They have refused to negotiate their newly proposed rate and instead outright ignored my counter offer. They also require a 60-day notice if you plan to move out. Their leases and ways of doing business are designed to set residents up for failure. They move you in at an affordable amount and continuously hike up the rate until they price you out. They wanted $2,036 per month for my two bedroom apartment. After ignoring my counter offer, and upon receiving my move out notice, they then relisted my very apartment for only $1,700 a month.Review from Craig H

Before moving in it was impossible for us to get ahold of anyone to get us answer to any questions we had. We also did not get to walk through the unit before move in because it was "not ready" so us being hopeful thought that meant that it would be "perfect" upon move in. When we moved in we immediately noticed problems. One obvious one was the patio paint chipping off and it didn't look as it had been cleaned even once, it was actually pointed out by one of the employees. Next we noticed that the control for two of the heaters didn't even have knobs, the linoleum isn't lined up or even set right so it peels. There's a hole in the roof above our patio, the door to our storage was literally splitting 3 ways at the bottom. My wife and I noticed after a few loads of laundry that our clothes would smell like mildew, come to find out our washer had mold just sitting in it, we also had a mildew smell in our closet that **** near smelled like dead fish, and last there are mold spots in our bathrooms. Aside from quick fixes we have not been taken care of in a way you think a business would take care of a customer when there have been so many issues right away. This has been the worst apartment experience my family and I have ever had and can not wait for our lease to be up.Review from Donna F

I will be writing a letter to forward to every agency and public forum i can so people do not rent from this property or any of its ************ son is a disabled Veteran and with the assistance of a ******************** he was approved which took 3 weeks. He received a formal approval via email. Then 3 days before his moved date, he received another email saying his score was short by 10 points so they would not approve him now. The ******************** offered to pay a month's rent as additional to support the application. They even stated in their email the credit score was good. They lie, non-responsive. When we try to talk to the Manager (***) he either would not talk or transfer you to voicemail, extremely rude. Also called the Manager at the ********** location and they are non-responsive as well. It's very sad how they treat people and especially sad how they treated a disabled Veteran who served our country to protect these people. STAY AWAY, IT WAS MOST LIKLEY A BLESSING THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE NOW WE SEE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS. SHUT THEM DOWN GOD!Review from STEVEN B

They worst company I have ever dealt with. I'm on a transplant list and these people caused my family to be homeless. They tried to evict us by accident when the rent had been paid. Then after move out They sent a letter stating we would get our deposit back. They have never sent it 6 months later. In the process of sueing I found out they hide behind different company names and refuse to make contact even with the lawyer they hired. Stay away! I hope they didn't ruin the last years I have left with my family.Review from Michelle S

This place is keeping money for an apartment that I was denied residency in. They tell you to complete an application and you have to put $400 down to hold an apartment. Upon getting denied a refund was to be issued. That was back in June 2024. They are telling me they don't have to refund my money. I will be contacting the attorney general about this matter.
