Business ProfileforEpic Store Thift and More

I was a regular shopper at this thrift store and I totally loved it! Now I cant shop there anymore because a rude couple took over running it and they are the worst in every way! I thought Id give it a go today and see if it has improved yet. The answer is a big, sparkling H*** NO!!! I stopped in, shopped for 15 minutes, and took a cart of stuff to the front to pay. As I set the items up on the counter the manager woman started making disappointed sounds and then decided that she didnt like the prices that they had put on the items and started raising everything by several dollars each and one item by $10. I was shocked and couldnt believe what I was actually hearing. Its not my fault or problem that you didnt do a great job pricing the stuff you are setting out to sell! I said that those are the prices your employees had stocked on your shelf and now you want to charge them??? Like its my fault for trying to by it??? She tried to say they were not the prices but they were definitely the stickers they use in the store and were reasonable prices for well warn, chipped, and dirty items. She started raising all the prices on the things that had prices and tried to make up larger amounts for items with no stickers. Then when I started getting uncomfortable with the shadiness of her actions she escalated it by snidely saying maybe I shouldnt sell them to you if they dont have a price. Whatever you say lady! I was done I told her she could keep it all. I wont give my money to someone who doesnt respect their customers or run their business well. I will never shop here again!!! She was saying that I had to pay what she decided at the register and not what any of their price tags said. What a terrible way to treat your customers and also do a terrible job running a store. What a rude scam they are running here. I hope they get shut down for being so ignorant about state law of pricing goods for sale. Worst experience ever at a thrift store!
