I subscribed their product, and when I canceled their subscription they sent me the product. I paused and canceled again, and they sent me the product again. I sent it back to them and they made me a refund of the product, but not shipping. And I canceled again, and they sent me again the product, and when I tried to send it back they said I can't because it passed the 30day period. I asked why they send me the products after I canceled it they said the cancellation has 9 steps. Oh my god.. Are you kidding me? They must know they do this intentionally. They are so shady and ethically so bad. Let's not support a company like this. They should feel shame on making money this way.Madison Reed Response

We can see in your account history that you changed the frequency of your shipments but did not cancel the auto delivery. As confirmed when you spoke with our team last week, it is canceled now. We refunded you for the three unwanted orders (including shipping) in advance of our receipt of the unwanted products being returned. This business purely profits on schedule mishaps and imposes a late fee even if you are within the allotted 10 minute late show allowance. I had made an appointment, drove to the business and was told that the service I wanted was not available for that time even though I scheduled fine online. They told me to come back at 2pm, for which I rescheduled my while day and was 9/10 min late. They had canclled my appointment before I even showed up and CHARGED me twice. Bad business. Dear ********, We're sorry for your frustration and understand that there have been some challenges with timeliness and or communication. Our system does cancel an appointment at the 15 minute late ****, so your first appointment on 9/16 was cancelled. We did refund you for the late fee and rescheduled you for later in the day, where the same issue occurred. We did refund you for that necessary cancellation as well and we are sorry we could not accommodate the length of time the service required any further into our schedule for the day.To confirm, both late fees were waived. Been going for years. One day 3-15-2024 went in the ************** location got my hair done. Just as I was checking out. The lady ( employee ) at the register said I need to talk to you, I said , yes? Then she said you know what ? Come outside to talk .. I was like wondering why. When she was outside with me she said I think we can not offer you services anymore. I had complaints that you make racist remarks. She got right in my face and told me that. She said I am now the acting manager and we shall not see you here anymore. I was in total dismay.Madison Reed Response

I have no issues with it he hair color itself. *** decided to go with a new color and I am unable to cancel the subscription I set up in June. The phone number leads to a bit and I cant find emails to contact. I think its a scam that I am unable to see my subscription on my account or through the link I was sent via the bot. I used this brand about 3-5 times. I was even a monthly member. The last time I used it was back in August 2023. A couple of days after dying my hair I had a cut without a wash or blow out. Just a dry cut basically. The day after I had significant hair loss. Clumps of hair coming out. I didnt think that the hair dye was the culprit at first until reading others comments. Because the grey coverage was poor its recommended to leave it on extra time about ***** minutes. After dying my hair it definitely felt more dry this time around compared to prior applications. Additionally even after the hair cut my hair felt like hay or straw when usually hair feels healthier. I never thought the trauma to the hair was a direct result of Madison Reed hair dye. I hope others dont fall for the companys deceptive green washing and lack of disclosure and transparency about the safety of its ingredients. I had no idea that this product was bad for my hair and health. I thought that this was the safest alternative to hair dye except for henna. Additionally the product falls short of its claims regarding grey coverage. *** had it applied professionally and at home and both had similar results although I was willing to deal with it if it was healthier. Soon after the last time I ordered I cancelled my subscription due to poor quality. I had no idea at the time that that caused the hair loss.I recommend that anyone using this product to immediately discontinue and anyone considering using Madison Reed dont. Madison Reed is the perfect example of why there is a need for greater oversight and regulation of the cosmetic industry to protect consumers.Madison Reed Response

I tried Madison Reed Aug. 2022, after one application, I noticed significant hair loss, especially at the crown of my head and hairline, so much that you could see the bald spot in the back on my head. I applied a hair loss formula for several months, after no improvement, I stopped. But finally, after about 15 months, I can see hair filling in, in the crown of my head. The loss of hair on my hairline, however, has not returned. I've been using ************ ***********, with no hair loss. Please buyers beware!! I started using this product after a friend suggested it. Now I have bald spots in the center of my head. No, I did not leave it on too long! So please stop saying that as you know that your product is faulty and you should be held accountable for the countless number of customers who your product has hurt. I never had any burning or irritation. I paid close attention to my thinning hair and saw that I had bald spots where I was covering my grays on the top of my head. My subscription was supposed to be renewed in Jan. I was charged for the renewal items TODAY (Nov 29.) NO email was sent out a few days earlier to let me cancel or extend the subscription. When I called Madison Reed they would not cancel the order because it already went through on my credit card, I now have to wait for it to be delivered and then return it. Why give the option to select a subscription date to be mailed, then ignore it completely and mail it out when they want without any warning?Madison Reed Response
