      Untrustworthy, scheming, lying, vile, dishonest company. Our Franchise made a very bad decision to move forward with Revel Systems, after months of issues they pulled the plug, some stores (including mine) never launched. Revel never fixed the issues. They came with promises that they couldnt deliver and now due to a forced contract, they have been attempting to charge almost 100 franchisees weekly, sometimes biweekly for services we dont/cannot use. They have sent us emails demanding payment, with threats such a credit reporting, again for a service that they were not capable of providing. Contracts are there solely to protect dishonest companies like these. If you have to sign a contract, walk away. They continue to attempt to charge us and continue to send invoices, AFTER 2 YEARS of litigation and no services provided. This company and its representatives should be investigated. If youre thinking about using this company for your business, DONT!

      This is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. We had a small pizza shop in ******* ** called ********** We somehow got convinced to use Revel even though the software was a bit more engineering type focused. Fine, we could deal with that. Well, this system just kept crashing on its own. From credit card readers not working to the whole system not taking online orders, it went down at least weekly, at random. We lost thousands of dollars of revenue. We lost employees because they couldn't take it anymore. We lost customers.We explained at length to Revel the problems we were having. Multiple calls, multiple emails, including adding senior management. We told them we needed someone to come and fix it. Nobody ever came. Nobody ever fixed it. After incredible amounts of frustrating and significant economic impact, we cut the cord and moved to another POS system.Well guess what. Revel is not letting us cancel and continues to bill us monthly. They did not come close to holding up their end of the contract, and I am torn between filing a lawsuit and spending my time on that, or going more scorched earth. This is a horrible company filled with horrible human beings. they can see our call logs. they can read our emails. they can practically feel our tears. And yet they never fixed our problems, never sent anyone to help, and now continue to charge us. It's horrible on so many levels. Don't use this company ever!!!

      We are a customer since 2014 and have many terminals and subscriptions with Revel. Similar situation and recent experience as *********** review below from 2019 with Revel. We had pricing and equipment currently in place. Their operations team and sales team pitched me a new gimmick to get our credit card business but they used some non-ethical business practices to trick me and sent me used equipment. The contract was signed in March and I didnt receive all of the equipment until June. By this time, I am fed up with all of the nonsense and coverups that the Revel teams have created to run me through a maze with no exits. I decided to cancel the contract because of all of the issues and non-professionalism from them and they continue to turn off my pos stations and claim I was not paying for them. It is hard to escalate within Revel and your attempts to "right the ship" get punished by their teams. They created a Quid-Pro Quo situation with me over the new equipment they never provided and would not send it to me unless I changed my credit card processing over to them 1st. They would not give me a timeline on the new equipment, but they did start charging me for credit card processing before I ever had the back-ordered terminals (because they sold me equipment that was not available in March but did not disclose this to me). BTW: The charges did not match the negotiated rates. I am still trying to get my services back but they do not make it easy. They use creative manipulative tactics to get you to pay more fees. They are supposed to give me the service I had before the new contract that they breached, but they are snakes in the grass and I am still trying to get my services restored. I truly hope there are still ethical businesses out there. Revel is proving to be an unethical business built on shady practices managed by contracts that are all in their favor. Beware before entering!
