Ionica from SuperCuts at East Brokaw Road in San Jose ruined my haircut. I asked for a specific and simple haircut for my one length hair. She assured me several times that she understood my instructions. She gave me a haircut that I did not ask for. The amount of hair cut and unevenness was enough so that I was not charged for the service. I did not ask Ionica to cut 4 inches off one side of my hair. I asked her to cut straight across, no rounding, and absolutely no angling to the sides. Super easy haircut that Ionica complicated because she did not listen or she does not fully comprehend English.
When I called the next day to speak to the owner about my experience, a stylist named Sue answered and stated that she was the manager, which turned out to be a lie afterglow. I explained why I was calling but before I could ask her for help, she rudely told me that she could not reattach my hair, that there was nothing she could do for me, and then rudely hung up on me.
That night I called the salon and the owner was in. I explained my experience to him. He was sympathetic but offered me no resolution when I suggested another master stylist correct Ionica's horrible haircut. He indicated that there would be a language barrier with the other stylist as there was with Ionica. In fact he asked me if I'd heard of Great Clips!
