I started a Two week Free Trial, I just tried to cancel today to learn that were is a $99.95 cancellation fee because it is for an "annual plan" for their creative cloud storage, which was not clear when signing up to use the App. I had chossen the cheapest option and monthly option, when it turns out is still a year contract. I do not need a free cloud storage. I do not want this product for a year. I also wanted to try it out for more than two weeks, I was OK with purchasing one month while I still tried to figure out the program. But it isn't worth it and now it is charging $99 to cancel. Terrible business practices. No one's cloud storage is priced this high and with cancellation fees, this is outrageous.Review from damian k

I did not even realize I had accepted an annual agreement, and only needed to use the software for a couple of documents. They want me to pay a penalty for canceling my contract, which amounts to about 2 months of service (or $40ish). I don't understand why a company this large would make it so difficult for people to get out of losing their money when it would cost the company nothing. They are practically stealing from people who do not even want to be customers. This company must be run by a super villain...Review from Raven S

I get forced into signing up for their "free trial" for work and will cancel the same day and yet I get charged! This is the 5th time I have had this problem with them! I'm so sick of it! It's like a low key scam!Review from Catherine B

Adobe has predatory practices for auto renewal. Essentially if you buy an annual plan you cannot cancel the auto renewal unless you are fine paying for the entire year and losing access to Adobe for the entire year. Other companies allow you to pay for the year and then cancel auto renewal so you do not accidentally get locked into a new plan the following year. This should be illegal. I will never buy Adobe again. It is ******** that a company believes so little in its product that it feels that it has to trick its customers into paying for it.Review from Bob J

***************. Their moral compass is so ****** i dont know how they find their way out the door everyday. Adobe is a publically traded scam. Their leadership has openly admitted that tricking people into long term agreements with early cancellation fees is a core part of their business model. Disgusting.Review from Abimelec F

I cant believe they charged me a cancellation fee for a service they marketed as a month to month service. Had I known this before I used this service, I would have NEVER signed up. This kind of marketing is anti-consumer and should be illegal. I will never use another Adobe software in my life and I urge others to not support a company who so openly behaves this way, even at the same time they are getting sued for it. This is disgusting.Review from Benjamin H

The *************** needs to take note of Adobe's shady business practices. The inability to cancel your subscription without paying a cancellation fee is absolutely criminal. I've dealt with Adobe software issues for the past year and have since switched to ****. Upon switching, I observed repeated unauthorized charges to my account. When I called Adobe, they told me that even though I have an "Adobe for Enterprise" account (free for me), I also have a "personal subscription" account that they've been charging. How is that possible on the same email!? Sounds akin to the ***** Fargo scandal of creating fake accounts for users! An absolute trash company--take them down **** ****!Review from Sharon U

I have used Adobe since 2002. I had ridiculously sad news given to me by Adobe that had taken all my photos and videos from Creative Cloud and deleted every single one of them without going out of their way to notify me of such a tragic disservice. When I notified Adobe that Creative Cloud was no longer on my computer, they told me that they had deleted everything and had given me notice in February. But I got for an excuse that they were moving into a new format or something and notified everyone of this occurrence. However, I had notified Adobe several times prior to them deleting my photos, and not one alert or notification by anyone I spoke to, not even a notification or alert on any of the responding emails of my interactions with Adobe to alert me of this horrendous Injustice after paying for years, and putting my trust and Creative Cloud to hold under safekeeping of their promises to have my assurance that my files were safe with adobe. Although they said they had notified me several times in February to let me know, I never received any email saying that they were going to obliterate all my files from Creative Cloud if I didn't do something, or open my email and respond. Now I am left without any files, and backup files have to be reassigned to Premier Pro for all of my video files, and I hope I can do this, but it will take a lengthy amount of time and money to get them all where they are working in synced to be able to create new videos from old files. This is so disconcerning. If there are any suggestions on what to do, I am up for hearing them. I can not believe Adobe did this, with no hesitation or resolution.I have been an online customer for at least 6 years and pay almost $100 a month for this, now, disservice.Review from Shannon G

Adobe is clearly a great suite of software, but the customer service is terrible. I signed up for a month, but somehow ended up with additional licenses and a +$300 fee to cancel. Service chat had no power to help and they've asked me to wait two days before someone might call. Be very careful about subscription fine print and switch **** or your small/solo business could be charged hundreds if you no longer need the service.Review from Erica R

This company is a scam. I signed up a monthly subscription of their photo editing program. I did not like it and tried to cancel the month after. I was informed that there was fine print explaining my monthly payment was actually an annual subscription. In order to cancel I would have to pay $75+ fee. The agent waived my subscription fee for 3 months so I could cancel without a fee in September. Last week I logged on to confirm my account would not review. This morning I was charged $9.99 again. When I tried to cancel online it said I would have to pay $34.99 early cancellation fee. I spent over an hour talking to various agents. They finally agreed to refund me and cancel my account without a fee. It should not be this difficult to cancel a subscription you are not using. If you are signing up for an annual contract it should be abundantly clear. Not everyone has over an hour to spend talking to agents. They should be investigated.
