            I was charged $299 dollars for a product that did not work from WPEVEREST on July 1st, 2024. WPEVEREST has since refunded my money but the complaint is referencing FastSpring payment processor. They have not given me a concrete answer on why my refund is being refused even though the company I originally bought the product from has "refunded" me. After going back and forth with FastSpring payment processor for over a month, they have since ceased communication without resolving the issue.

            Starting in March of 2024, I began receiving $9.00 monthly charges from "Bright Market LLC dba FastSpring" on my paypal for a "Personal plan." I have not initiated any services with FastSpring and have disputed these charges with PayPal. I made several attempts to reach out to FastSpring via email through their published address and gotten "Undeliverable" responses from the mail system. I have attempted to call their published phone number and gotten a "not in service" recorded message. The transaction lookup interface on their website does not allow searching by transaction ID, but instead requires disclosure of PII that I do not feel comfortable sharing with a company that I believe to be involved in fraudulent practices. I am writing this review as a warning to others, however, if the charges are not refunded through PayPal, I will escalate this to a complaint with the BBB and will be filing interstate fraud charges through the FTC and Virginia Attorney General.
