After penciling my son in for a class, Mr. L***** called me Saturday 10/28 to confirm an appt. For 10/29. I let him know that we would not be going forward with the lesson. He got upset, said I'm messing everything up because he had scheduled two other students to complete a group class. I did not arrage or know who these students are. After we talked he called my 16 year old son's phone, leaving a voicemail, asking my son to convince me to take him to the class. He called my phone once more today 11/10. He has called my son earlier this week and again today. I sent him a text asking him to not call my son. This is the text from me to him. from me: We have chosen a different school. Please stop calling me and my son. It's very unprofessional to call a minor to try to get there services. From Mr. Le****: A*****, thank you for letting me know after talking with you for E***'s lesson on 29OCT--which you caused to be canceled for the others---and it's CERTAINLY NOT unprofessional when a minor's guardian doesn't answer the MANY calls I've made since then! Of the 17,000 plus minors I've TALKED WITH since since 1971 as a secondary educator at a high school, I've NOT ONCE had this problem! . I sincerely wish your family well-- especially at this time of year. Dr. La*** His closing about wishing my family well especially this time of year, sounds very threatening. Extremely unprofessional. He also durring our first conversation asked me for turn by turn directions to our house. This is odd, esp. for a driving instructor considering he can use a driving app.
