Lavish *****'s did an excellent job painting the outside of our home. We have a 70 year old ranch style home, with some serious paint blistering and fading issues and a lot of dirt/cobwebs everywhere.They did a thorough walk around at the initial visit, and noted all the areas that might need special handling and discuss approaches to prep and color to help accentuate the good features and hide the bad ones. We had a color consultation as well which was great as it challenged some of our thinking, and allowed us to consider factors we had not thought of. They brought us several samples and were patient as we asked more questions and honed in on what we wanted.The preparation work was outstanding. The power wash was gentle on our old redwood shakes, while stronger on other parts to really get rid of all the webs and dust everywhere. They took great care to avoid our vegetable garden. The sanding, caulking, patching, masking, tarping - all was incredibly thorough. I used to be a professional painter myself, and the prep is by far the most important phase. I noticed the attention to detail that the team put into this. They clearly take great pride in their work and quality really matters to them. I loved how after they painted the coats, the team would walk around inspecting carefully for any misses or problem areas, and handle them. **** would also walk with his team to identify areas to touch up and do a comprehensive quality control. They were also very neat at the end, doing a great job to clean up, and the left our property looking even better than when they first arrived. Terrific job, I would not hesitate to hire them again.
