I brought my boat to them to have the fuel pump put on, and to be fair I had someone work on it before and couldn't get it running. I talked to ******, let him know the back ground and I also said it might not just be the fuel pump. I am aware of the boats age, and also understand that other things can be broken. They put on the new fuel pump, the boat wouldn't run, they then replaced the distributor cap and rotor which had been replaced by the guy who worked on it prior. They said they saw wear marks on the rotor so it had not been replaced, which is fine, then they got the boat to start but it wouldn't idle. Here is where the problem begins, I was upfront, I don't know a lot about motors, I even told them I had concerns about the carburetor. Instead of properly troubleshooting the boat, and finding it was the carburetor, they chose to tell me the spark plugs are bad. The spark plugs may have been worn, but they were not the problem. Then comes this wont work we need to rebuild the carburetor. Then we now realize do that you need a bunch more new stuff. At this point I am stuck , if I say no more I still have a boat that doesn't run and still owe them money.I did bring up my concerns, the sales person called me, they were upset a customer questioned them. I was nice, because I was deployed I was tired and I just wanted it fixed. I knew things weren't adding up, but I said fix it. After I authorized it I talked to other people and they showed them the work that was being done, 2 who are licensed mechanics said this isn't correct, they are over charging and they don't know what they are doing. I have already signed it and said I'll pay it. Then I got the boat back. When I was driving it back, my dad was with me and we both started to feel sick. We were getting ** poisoning, I had it looked at again, they didn't get the proper parts and or did not install properly. Its a half done job, you can see in the pictures.
