I remember the username and login to my yahoo mail account but I can't remember the security question. For that reason it's not letting me login to my account. I need my account unlocked. This is absurd I should be able to login my account with my username and password if they are correctBusiness response

The Yahoo team apologies for any trouble that occurred while ******** attempted to access the account. No I haven't got back into the account my email is ******************* Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/11/29) */ The email account "*******************" has been deactivated for inactivity. This happens when an account hasn't been accessed for a year or more. At this point, the mailbox has been deleted and the account can't be reactivated.Initial Complaint

I purhased 'Nord' service from yahoo, who isnt forwarding the subscription to Nord. NORD awaits something from 'Yahoo' before any activation of such service. Yahoo pone support asks that i re install nord app and download yahoo app, and reset settings all which have nothing to do with yahoo sending me links with nothing to do with them, yahoo, activating my purchase. And the emailsbthey send while im on the phone with them show the wrong recieved time, yahoo person would not get me a manager or get tech support to check the link or why emails dont have the rite time. None of which have to do with the browser im using or wether or not i download the yahoo mail app which they insist on me doing. I dont have time or data for companys to wast on my phone.Business response

We******************************************** needs to update our phone number on our Yahoo business account. They are currently using the owners personal cell phone number and not the company phone number. We can not get it changed. We can not get a hold of anyone. There is no way to submit a mistake. AND > we get forwarded to YEXT which is who they say they are partnering with to make these updates. When we get to YEXT they want money from us. Our listing on Yahoo is a free listing and we did not even add it there... they did it somehow. And now we can't update our own phone number without paying for it. This is wrong. Phone number listed is cell phone ********************************************************** I have uploaded the listed for YELP and GOOGLE (with correct phone number) and Yahoo (incorrect phone number)Business response

I've been locked out of my account as my attempts to log-in have constantly been adjudged to be from an unrecognized device despite using the same computer I always used and signing in with the correct password. I've lost my password to the recovery mail tied to this account and the recovery mail to retrieve the lost password is the same one I was logged out of.Business response

Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/11/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I was contacted by a member of an internal support team. However, as written by other previous complainants it seems that they are unable to help me with my sign-in verification issue and that I have lost my account for good. The only other advice they could offer me was to create a new account. I won't hide my disappointment but I do not wish to pursue the matter any further.
