            Our son was bilaterally implanted at 9 months old. Their equipment. Obviously it's not meant for babies there. Equipment, the wires break every 2 weeks. Batteries. Don't last 16 hours a day. They're replaced every 4 months he. Averages 11 hours a day of use. But he can't hear if he doesn't have the batteries 2 here. If you're thinking about going with advanced bionics, think again, it's been over a year. The warrant's out on the batteries. They've never lasted more than 4 months. And they do not want to replace them. They're going through our insurance now. I have to say the batteries are over $500 each. The wires that go to the batteries that only last a couple weeks are five hundred dollars each without being said make your choice
