I am utterly appalled by the abysmal service at Norm Reeves Honda West Covina dealership. I am absolutely disgusted by the fraudulent practices that they put my dad through. To be specific, *********************** the sales guy and ******************* the finance director. Let me explain why you should not buy from this dealership. The staff shamelessly took advantage of my elderly Hispanic father who speaks broken English. My dad went in to buy a USED 2021 Honda CR-V for $25,828.00 and left with a $38,982.77 loan and a $615 monthly payment. Also, my dad had given them $3k to put down. He should of had a $25k loan roughly after taxes. My father was NOT given a contract in Spanish in which the deal was negotiated in Spanish. To be specific, this sales person *********************** selected every option possible to add on extra fees. 1.EG theft protection $,1954 (OPTIONAL)2.EG ****** 5y (OPTIONAL) $1,399 3.EG VSC (OPTIONAL) $3,521 4.EG Select 5y T&W (OPTIONAL) $1,342 5.EG Key replacement 5y (OPTIONAL) $793 6.Debt cancellation agreement or guaranteed asset protection waiver (OPTIONAL) $995 This is GRAND UNNECESSARY TOTAL of $10,004 Not only did they not provide my dad with the opportunity to see the contract in Spanish, they did not provide the correct monthly income on his credit application. My dad makes $22 an hour with a gross monthly income of $3800. On his credit application it states his monthly income is $4100. Although this is only a few hundred dollars off this information is INCORRECT. My dad went back a few days later to talk about the contract to the sales guy because he did not understand all of the fees etc. The sales person completely instilled fear in him told him his credit would be ruined and scared him off. This dealership took total advantage of the elderly and ******************* DO NOT BUY FROM HERE AVOID DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS! Their predatory tactics and blatant exploitation are unforgivable. Avoid this dealership at all costs.
