On 07/20/2023 at approximately 8:30 pm ***********************, and I, *********************** to work out at the Pueblo Planet Fitness location, as we have been doing almost everyday Monday through Friday for almost 3 years now. prior to this, my fiance had the funds in her account for her monthly fee, but on the day the service ran, ******* had pulled some of the funds out which caused the Planet Fitness membership charge to bounce. She immediately called the local office, She had put the money back into the account for the ********************** Membership fee, and asked the staff to run it again. I heard them tell her that there was nothing to worry about, the system would run the charge up to three times before anything late fees were accrued. So she just left the funds in the account for the ********************** Membership fees. On the 20th of July on our way into the gym, she checked again on her Planet Fitness App and it showed a late fee of 10 dollars had been assessed. This caused her concern because of her previous conversation with the staff. Upon arrival, she voiced this concern to *********************** (This was the name on both of our forced cancellations) who was a young blonde girl that was working the desk. Immediately upon hearing my Fiance's concerns, this blonde girl began cutting her off, stating she either had to pay the late fee or lose her account. She was very rude, and kept encouraging my fiance to cancel her membership. After trying to be heard with no success, my fiance said in frustration just to cancel the account.I want my most recent month's membership returned to me, and the annual fee that was just charged to me returned, seeing as how the membership was cancelled without my consent, and I would have kept my membership if it was not for the treatment received by the staff on site this day.I can forward you emails of the company giving me the run around about getting my refund.
