            I attempted to schedule an appointment to receive psychiatric care from Colorado Psychiatry Center over the phone. My appointment was scheduled in the wrong location, a location that was over an hour away compared to the closest one being only 20 minutes, and was scheduled for the wrong time. After receiving a text reminder about my appointment the day of which had the incorrect time, I called the location to fix the error. They proceeded to okay me going at the correct time. After 40 minutes of driving I was notified the psychiatrist was "no longer available" and that the original person who scheduled me had conveniently taken an extended leave and so the mistake could not be verified. I was then offered to have an appointment rescheduled at the closer location on the 11th. However, they were not willing to refund the $100 no-show fee even though every reason of my absence was due to their mistakes. After asking for a refund on the first $100 charge, the office explained they were not going to refund and were no longer willing to take me. I was then charged another $100 for a no-show fee.

            Started off decent; just needed medication management for my mentally unstable 16 year old. While not ****** personable with working through anything, ************************************* was nice enough to work with in terms of getting medicine help. My daughter had a rough few weeks, getting admitted to, and kicked out of, a residential facility and my family had to temporarily relocate about 5 hours away. Since we had an upcoming appointment, I called to ask if we could Telehealth instead. Was told that it would be "inconvenient for the provider." I literally said that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The provider has the appointment scheduled, and she can't just get on the computer or a phone call instead? I explained that my daughter was just kicked out of a facility, that she was mentally instable, and we could NOT safely come to the location. Yet.... the doctor was not able to have one telehealth appointment during this time (again, during an ALREADY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT). The front desk advised that the good news was - I wouldn't be charged for changing the appointment! I find it extremely hard to understand this policy after providing the clinic the details of the situation, and the need for help. We will not be returning.
