On 9/30/2020 I got an estimate from Ingram Drilling for a well on my property in ******* County I liked the bid of $24,000, so I went with it, and they ordered and got a permit for the well on 11/13/2020. So, Kevin Ingram told me that they would not be able to do the well till the spring of 2021 which has all right with me. Then the spring of 2021 came, and I called Kevin to find out when they would be coming to dig the well, he told me that I was on his list for June or July of 2021. Nothing happened, when I called him, he said that he was having truck problems and he would call me with a new date. Again, nothing happened, when I called him, he always had excuses, he was having problems getting materials or problems with problems with his trucks. I am calling monthly to find out when I would get my well done it seemed like he kept putting me off for over a year. Then on 7/11/2022 he said they could dig the well and he sent me a contract to sign but it was for $32,000. that was $8,000. more than the original bid. I feel that this is like a bait and switch, when they got my permit, I filled out a letter saying at Ingram Drilling would act as my agent for this permit which I felt was a contract to work only with him. I felt the increase was unfair since the delays were all his problems and not mine. I was being patient and understanding and should not have been penalized with a higher charge. I discussed this with him, and he said it wasn't his fault that his truck broke down. I feel that he should have stuck with the original bid. I waited for him for 18 months.
