For a gift last year I received a $100 gift card to massage envy. I set up a full body massage and when I got there, the receptionist (can't remember her name) said they were having a special if I signed up for a year of massages. The special would be that my massage that day would be free, and the next massage would be free, which would be the first 2 months out of the 12 month deal, and then I could use my gift card for the 3rd massage. I agreed and received the first massage and scheduled a second massage. By the time my second massage came around I had to keep rescheduling due to my busy work schedule and keeping my kids. When i eventually made it in, the girls at the front desk said that this massage wasn't free, but was covered by my $100 dollar gift card. I explained to them the deal that the girl set me up with that first time I came in. At first they couldn't even find me in the system, and then finally explained that girl no longer works there, and I would need to talk with one of the managers, who wasn't there that day. I started emailing the manager and she said I was under contract and could not get out of it ( I have attached copy of emails). So I have had 2 massages - 1 on June 18th, and 1 on September 10th, which both should have been free. However, only the 1st one was free, and they charged my gift card credits on my account for the 2nd one. I have not received a massage since then, and they have continued charging me 75 dollars a month. I was under the impression first 2 would be free, and then 3rd one using my gift card, and then 75 a month for remaining 9 months. Instead, I received 1 free massage, and have paid 450 dollars to date and still being charged. I would like this contract to be cancelled because the girl who set this up was no longer with the company and the company did not follow through with her promises. I would also like to be refunded 450 dollars.
