On September 26, 2024 my husband and I bought a sofa set and paid in full $1662.27 at the Bobs Furniture store in ******** **. We told the salesman we wanted a sofa set that will be quick delivery. He showed us a set and we decided to get it, he said that we should get the sofa set within a week. The sofa was delivered on 8/29/24. The love seat was set to be delivered on 09/07/2024. On 09/07/24 we get a notification that the delivery is delayed and rescheduled on 09/12/24. We get another notification that the delivery is delayed and will be rescheduled to 09/17/2024. On 9/17/2024 the delivery is rescheduling to 09/20/2024. On 09/20/2024 we get a notification stating that the sofa can not be delivered because it was forgotten at the warehouse. My husband and I have spoken to Bob's customer service representatives with no resolution. I want to also bring up that the salesman charged us for goof proof after we had told him several times we did not want it but was still charged $150. We were given the option to return the sofa ourselves for a full refund and who knows how long that will take, or to return the sofa and order a new set. I don't want to rent a uhaul to return the sofa, because they will not pick it up. I do not want to order a new set and have to go through the same ordeal of waiting months for our furniture. We paid in full and this company is holding on to our money for an item we do not have and not to mention for a service we never asked for and got charged for it anyway. They keep sending us dates of an estimated delivery time and when I call or chat with customer service the delivery dates seem to always change to later dates. We have been waiting about 7 weeks for a loveseat we paid for and don't have. We were told that these items would be delivered within a week of purchase, we got half of our order. This is bad business and I want it resolved before my husband and I seek legal counsel.
