Ordered a 40-foot dock with lift and 40-foot canopy. Boat measures 39 feet anchor to end of swimstep. The first drawing had the bow area of the dock filled in so much that it left too little space for the 39 feet. Drawing was revised in order to bring the bow forward to fit the boat within the dock and canopy. When balanced on the lift, the boat hangs out over 4 feet past the end of the dock. They failed to locate the lift to fit inside the dock and canopy. They produced an incorrect drawing and now blamed me for it. This, after all our discussions and correspondence centered around, fitting the boat within the 40-foot dock. They convienatly omitt scaling your boat onto the drawing so they can blame you for it. It's now my fault the boat hangs out in the canal 4 feet past the dock? Really? Then they loaded the boat so far forward (to compensate)it overloaded the front beams and cables to the point it has permanently deflected the structural components forward while the back has hardly and weight. Took 3 weeks to get the owner Mike to call me, and then he was over the top wound up and irrational. Taking no responsibility and trying to intimidate me. When that failed, he started dropping F bombs. I am sure this is not the type of company and ownership you want to do business with.

It would be best if you spoke the truth. You have dragged our name through various mud pits and we will seek legal advice if this continues. If you were so "Concerned" about the layout, then why did you accept the drawing and allow us to build the project as acceptable to you? You had every opportunity. Seems you have "Buyers Remorse". You also paid for the dock in full with no issues. Now that it's in place, you're not satisfied with it? By the way, I don't use the F-word. Especially to a customer, no matter how much they lie.
