This is what I emailed to the owners of the establishment.Let me start by saying that I have always enjoyed my time at Crown and Bull. I had always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. However after last night (Saturday, July 13, 2024), I would like to register a formal complaint from a very unprofessional experience I had at the outside bar.I am finding out that one of the owners (I am told ******* is his name) was the cause of this unprofessionalism.Last night, around 10:15pm, I was out with a few friends celebrating a friends birthday. We were minding our own business, talking amongst ourselves, at the bar. We were not loud. We were not drunk. We were not obnoxious. I wasnt even drinking. A man who was talking to our group wanted to buy a drink for our group. We were told we all would not be served. The bartender (*******) didnt even tell us why we wouldnt be served. He told us hes the owner, and he didnt have to explain. My only assumption is we find out its because ******* is friends with the guy who was sitting to the left of us. This guy next to us (who we werent even talking to) turns out to be the abusive toxic ex-boyfriend of a good friend of ours. This guy then turned around and said something to one of our friends.. She wanted nothing to do with him. We continue to ask why we werent going to be served. The bartender (*******) wouldnt tell us and looked at security and asked for us to be escorted out, otherwise the police would be called. Seriously? I have never been kicked out of an establishment ever. To be kicked out doing absolutely nothing, confuses me. If the reason for us being kicked out is because the abusive ex-boyfriend told ******* not to serve us well that is kind of gross and is bad business. I will report that. It would be nice to know the real reason why we were kicked out, but if ******* was not going to share it, then I will share it with the BBB.Thank you for hearing me out.
