SERVICE TECHNICIAN TOOK MY CAR TO HIS PERSONAL HOME FOR AN HOUR….. I took my car for a service, and while I was at work I got a weird feeling and checked my BMW App. Thankfully I did because I was able to see that the service technician did more than their test drive to check the maintenance, he actually drove it past their test driving radius to his hotel room he was living in at the time for his lunch break which was later confirmed by his manager. When confronting the bmw maintenance manager Edward C. he half heartily apologized while smiling ear to ear, trying to just sent me on my way because in his words “he had a long day, and wanted to just go home.” He didn’t care one bit about the situation and acting very pretentious and stuck up. When I asked to speak to the general manager he said “There is no one above him.” Being a female in my 20s I felt like I was not taken serious during the whole situation and felt like my concerns were being brushed off. While we were discussing this the entire staff circled around to listen in almost as if it was the gossip of the dealership. I left feeling taken advantaged off and extremely violated. What would’ve happened if he crashed my car? I would expect more from BMW and a manager. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to BMW of Fort Myers. I am now inconvenienced and have to go to BMW Naples to get quality service. I would NOT advise anyone to bring their car from service.
