I called Mr ********************** due to water leaking in kitchen/bathroom floors.I Hydro scrub was done/visual inspection w/camera. said my sewer pipes were corroded with large holes and that was the source of the leaks I was quoted $8000,guaranteed I would no longer have water on my floors. Then tells me more damage and that a larger portion of the pipes needed replaced & it would be $14000,then told me the total was $29000 but Synchrony would only approve $14000 so they were going to do it for that price. So I said OK. Then he tells me it's not $14000 total, but in addition to the $8000 I already paid. Making it $23000 to replace 20ft of pipe. I had no choice at this point,had water on my floors, &already had tunnel dug under my ******** took them almost a month to do it. They finish and I still have water on my floor. They came & said he ran every test he could and it's not a plumbing issue. I contacted office. they sent a different tech He said he thinks a pipe is leaking in the wall & would be an additional $2000 & could not guarantee it was the problem. I told him they should fix it without additional charge since this is the original issue I called them for& was guaranteed no more water,said he had to charge & that no where else would be cheaper. Tried to bully me into paying upfront. I refused he asked me why, would not stop pressuring me. He said he can't schedule unless I pay upfront. I said no. He then tried to get me to pay half and I said no,kept on questioning me why I will not do it. I had to tell him to drop it. I told him to schedule it for next week, he asked why I won't do it sooner. I told him I had other things going on. He said you don't have to be home just leave back door unlocked. I said no I called another plumber and they came out the same day and replaced pipe in 2 hours for $486. never give you a written estimate,had to ask several times for invoice. They make you sign electronically and you never get to see what you're signing or have a copy.
