We apologize if this is how you are feeling. However, in our line of business documents need to be signed PRIOR to receiving any proceeds. If there is a lender involved, we are NOT allowed to disburse until receipt of approval. We try and please all of our clients and customers while following our companies policies and procedures. At the time of closing, we issued you a check AT THE TABLE, and you left the office and attempted to deposit. When the bank informed you that funds wouldn't be available for 7 days you returned to our office and requested a wire transfer instead. We had to issue a stop payment on that check and it was already after hours. The wire needed to go out the next business day. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you since you were not properly informed of what to expect during your closing process.
