We hired CHS in January of 2022. We were happy with the quote given & the cost. We provided all the material for our home renovation. We were told our project would take 2 weeks, but turned into 4 weeks in which 2 of those weeks we were completely moved out & had emptied our house. They laid new flooring through out our home, THEN textured our walls and ceilings, there is oil-like spots on our brand new flooring. The texture is literally the worst job I've seen in a home. There are areas where the walls/ceilings are completely smooth & areas where they are very thick, more like the outside of a stucco'ed house. We mentioned how we were not happy and the response we got was "Not all of the rooms look bad, the bedrooms look good." They sprayed texture over light fixtures (rather than covering them up) & our wifi router. There are gaps between the tile & the wall in the master shower, several areas that were not cut in with paint. A transition was never installed going from our kitchen to a back-room. They added a light to my master shower & wired it wrong. It does not turn off, EVER! As a "bonus" to us they installed new doors that we provided. The doors are cut wrong & have splattered texture all over them. Our master door has a large gap so light shines into my bedroom at night. Our walls were painted a light blue, but the door were propped against my bedroom wall to be painted, so there are white lines on my blue walls. There were bucked of mud/ texture dumped on my front porch and yard and just left. They cracked our ceiling by an attic access & just painted over the crack rather than repair it. The guest bathroom ceiling was never painted, just textured. The trim around the bathroom door was never removed, just textured over. They finally agreed to refund us $1500 but have not followed thru & won't return calls. Since then our house flooded (They broke the dishwasher drain). The flooring & cabinets are ruined. They refused to make this right.
