            July 8th 2022 ********** A/C company was hired by my neighbor above my unit to replace air handler. Work was performed at ******************************************************************* unit 912 ********** A/C company while the installation without any city permits Broke boiler-water pipes that was below the air handler. Unit owner and his parents were instructed by the condo association that all work must be reported prior starting and that procedure of shutting main water line must take place. *********** and ************************* were the party hiring the A/C company. After the incident nether the owner nor the company took action to remediate water damage from my unit causing Damages to crown moldings, baseboards, ceiling and walls water stains. Protruded water caused my A/C air handler soaked with water and later grow toxic mold that spread throughout entire unit making it unsafe to live in. Neither party cooperated to provide insurance information or report and file a water damage. I had to go through extensive trouble in order get response from either party. I understand that accidents happen but the way you handle it after make a huge difference. I didnt have to go though this is things were done as requested by the association or at least conduct water mitigation right away. Today is January 28th ******************************************************************************* damages from that incident.             I bought an A/C unit from this company and it is still under warranty. It broke this year and needed a part which was free and came with 3 pounds of Freon. The diagnostic visit was $107.00 which I didnt mind so much. But the installation of the new FREE part took about 2 hours to install at about $90.00 an hour, plus 1 more pound of Freon for $90.00 and my bill came to $764.50. I was given an estimated charge of $675.00 which I figured would be decreased since the charges didnt come to that much, but it wasnt. I asked about an itemized bill and was told they dont do that. And that if I had used another company it would have been double that charge. I asked what the extra cost was for and was told it was for picking up the new part. So, I expected the normal cost to be $270.00 plus some extra for incidental parts, or about $300 to $400. Instead it was $764.50. What did I pay the extra $364.00 for??? The diagnostics and repair job cost me in total $871.50 to install a FREE part. I think this is way out of line!! I wont deal again with anyone who cant give me an itemized bill. Im not happy.
