I had a leak in my kitchen & thought it was the roof. The roofing company told me water was dripping from a pipe. He thought it was the A/C unit.

I called Val Air & Hector came out. He took a video that showed water SQUIRTING out of the pipe! The copper pipe was connected to PVC connectors that were cracking and I'd need a plumber ASAP.

Since Hector was here, I asked if he could do my annual heater maintenance inspection, even though I normally have it done in September. If he could, that would save him a trip next month and he'd also get paid for coming out today.

I called the plumber and while I was on the phone, Hector went back to the attic to mark the leak with pink duct tape so it could quickly be seen. I relayed Hector's description to the rep, who agreed that it had to be fixed ASAP. She sent Joe, who arrived about half an hour later!

Hector was just finishing the heater inspection when Joe arrived, so he went up to the attic with Joe to show him the pipe, even though he had marked it, to limit Joe's time in the attic. It was REALLY hot up there. Hector didn't have to mark the leak or go back up to the attic!

It's hard to find reputable companies that don't rip off customers! In fact, I learned that the owner of Livingston Air (company that installed my A/C unit) sold his company to Air Force One when he retired. So, Naturally, I called Air Force One when my A/C unit broke. Air Force One DID rip me off! After that rep fixed the problem, he told me I'd have to pay for the repair AND also the next maintenance inspection IN ADVANCE and the price was exorbitant! I had no choice!

I told many people what Air Force One did and one of the people told me that Vinnie, who worked for Livingston Air, started his own company: Val Air. I immediately called Val Air and spoke with Doreen, who also worked for Livingston Air! They use the same price structure that Livingston Air did, which is very fair. I highly recommend Val Air!
