I booked a car rental on line. I stated that the total cost was $115.00.It then added the taxes and fees which made it another total cost of $149.00. I rented cars in ******* several times so I knew I would pay about $100, with the costs on everything going up, I accepted the $149.00. When I went to pick up the vehicle, the wanted a $500.00 deposit and $174.00 for a non-refundable fee to use their toll pass that you cannot decline for any reason. I put in routes without tolls in ******* so I did not need a toll tag. This ruined my vacation dealing with them. They should not be able to force charges on customers for items they do not need.Transaction#RC1323123BA, transaction 12/28/2022, $50-750.00

We booked the car rental on ********* for 8/16/22 and returning the car 8/22/22. ********* charged $172.62 with all fees included. There wasn't any disclaimer saying additional charges or services would be required when we picked up the car. When we arrived to pickup the car we were told that we had to pay a daily charge for the use of a SunPass when we didn't need it. Most tolls are only .50-1 which we use to pay by coins at the toll booth. We were told we had to get it for a daily charge of 9.99 and had to pay for all tolls charged on it. There wasn't an option to not get it. They said it was built into the car and even if we tried to pay at the toll booth we would still be charged 24.99 for each use. Then they charged $20 per day for insurance surcharge claiming it was FL law that required it when I have my own ***** insurance and credit card coverage from ****. We were charged 179.94 in addition to what we paid *********. This was all done with a video rep located in Maimi and we weren't presented any documents or contracts to review before we had to pay. All the initials and signatures were duplicated on each line without my acknowledgement. Once we returned the car we inspected it and there wasn't any damage on the car. Filled the gas full and made sure car was clean. The next day we get an email saying there was scratch and paint damage which they charged us $610.11. The picture they sent us had a little dot on the car which they're charging us $610.11 for. This is absurd and companies like this should never be allowed to operate.

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/09/21) */ The customer once arrived told us about the insurance that he has, which is******* In this case, we charged him for the Supplemental Liability Insurance, which is added since the customer did not provide the declaration page showing up his liability coverage Regarding the Sunpass, if he declined the tolls, there is a penalty of $25.00 + the amount of each toll. Also, the customer planned to pay by cash, the rental agent explained that it was not possible to pay with cash since our vehicles already have their own transponder on the windshield, so if he crossed these tolls, we would charge him the penalty already explained Regarding the damage, this damage was not on the vehicle before his reservation, nor reported by previous customers. The customer was warned about the QR in the keychain and the pictures on this one. The customer should scan this QR and compare the pictures on this link, and if the customer finds a damage not reported, he should send videos or pictures before leaving the parking lot on his pick-up. Also, this vehicle is a 2022 Toyota Camry, so no damages were on it. The customer did not provide this information Please find attached our terms and conditions and our link for the damages to the vehicle ***********************************

Right car rental company is superimposing my signature and initials and on documents that I did not sign or agree to. I paid $80 for insurance as well to which they said does nothing in this situation. They charged me $989.38 for a chip on a window that was not there and an over charge for a tire that should be cover by the insurance. There was not anyone there to receive car or do a walk around to check for damage with me or in general it was all virtual. This company is known for scamming people and over charging.
