Ventura Resorts Rental is the worst agency to go through if you're going to rent a vacation home. THERE SHOULD BE A NEGATIVE STAR OPTION ABOVE. My husband and I rented a home in the Ventura Country Club neighborhood. On check in day we walked into a dirty, disgusting residence...filthy stained carpets, dirty stained walls, disgusting bathrooms, a broken slider door, NO CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR yet there is an attached 2 car garage with a gas fired hot water tank in it, a broken dishwasher, COCKROACHES in the kitchen...dead ones inside freezer, refrigerator and dishwasher. I have pictures to back up this insult. I called the agency, asked to be moved to a different rental but supposedly there weren't any available. We checked in on Feb. 1st and it took until Feb. 10th for house to be exterminated. One morning last week I found a toad sitting on the kitchen floor. There is an opening in the foundation large enough for it to come in. Broken blinds on almost every window, rusted patio furniture, holes in most window screens but especially the 12" hole in the screen on the sliding glass door making it unusable. Leaking underground water pipe which has left the side yard saturated all the time and water pooling outside on the front sidewalk which never dries up. This rental agency has an extremely negative reputation in this neighborhood for the exact same issues I am writing about. This is the rental house from hell, on ****************, would not wish this experience on anyone else. I am telling everyone about this...the nice neighbors I have met, the staff in the country club and people in restaurants and shops that we are visiting. BUYER BEWARE...when you give Ventura Resorts Rental your money they ignore your concerns.
