In the summer of 2023, I reached out to Florida Pavers and Pergolas. Prior to hiring them, I researched their customer review ratings listed on Better Business Bureau (BBB) site. The ratings highlighted Florida Pavers And Pergolas poor performance that stemmed from customer dissatisfaction. The ratings led me to ask the owner and a representative about the customer reviews rating listed on the BBB site. In summary, the owner reported that BBB reportedly would remove ratings, if they paid a fee. Moreover, the owner and representative referred to customer ratings on google. Nonetheless, I checked and it appears that the ratings conflict with what was reported. Unfortunately, I learned that the BBB ratings matched their work. For example, I had them install Pavers on each side of my home, which totaled over $6,000. After having put 50% down and the balance due at completion of work. I was told that I owed more. Although I waited about 4 weeks prior to installation, I expected the work to look like their WEBSITE pictures. NOT! The work was rushed, and THE pavers are already separating. I am not sure if they hired illegals but the language barrier resulted in limited communication regarding the nearly disastrous work. It was nearly a disaster because I had a translator to help address the incomplete work on the other side. I would never use Florida Pavers and Pergolas again! I caution those WHO choose them, to watch their entire job, and not pay with a CREDIT CARD or the balance until EVERYTHING is resolved because they will ghost you after the job is done. Although I attempted to reach the owner and representative that promised to guide us through the project, it was a LIE. On one side, the Pavers are tilted or lopsided and on the the other side, the Pavers are separating. These thieves lack the skill, integrity, and honesty, and does not take pride in their work.
