This photographer has since moved to AL. This was our second time using her, the 1st time there were no issues. We had a private family session and not told the location until the night before; it was 45 mins away. Had we been informed at booking, we would not have booked. Every year we do these photos the same weekend so it was important to keep our appnt. It was crazy windy and crowded so other people were taking photos of us with the rented prop which was very distracting. When we got the edited photos they were awful. We viewed the photos on 3 different computers and the issues were the same. Skin tone of one family member was so far off, she looked ghostly white like someone colored her with chalk. The images were too dark otherwise and not as advertised on her page and website. Because of the wind, some photos had hair flying off to the sides that had not been edited out. I contacted her, no response for over 5 days so I filed a dispute with Venmo. Only then did she contact me. I got a 3 page long text about how she moved to another state and she has kids and is SO busy and I should feel bad for her. She agreed to fix the photos so Venmo made me close the dispute. We got a quick re-edit shortly after and only of some of the pics, not all. The re-edits were only slightly better but still not professional nor accurate in terms of skin tones and hair flyaways. I contacted her yet again and she said she would redo. I waited over a month with no contact. When I contacted her again asking for status she became hysterical in text, another long story of having kids, homeschooling, moving, etc. She saw nothing wrong with the photos/edits in the first place and refused to correct them. In the end she refunded the session and provided JPG originals only, after written abuse via text and her husband threatening me. I have now had 4 pro photographers review the photos and agree they were poorly taken and poorly edited.

This review has been posted by A woman who has caused several issues amongst numerous photographers in the area. Her name is shared in several photography groups with warning. She schedules sessions, and then once her gallery is delivered, files for chargebacks. If you are a photographer in the area, beware. Anyone who goes through this sort of trouble for a negative review on someone, speaks for itself.

Email received (with grammatical errors) from client upon delivery of gallery. 

A refund was issued because of numerous emails and text messages threatening my business if I did not comply. 

It has since been brought to my attention that she does this frequently. 

Clear delusion. From a pro photographer that has reviewed the entire gallery. "this person had no idea what they were doing. She had her shutter speed set to 1/800. Thats about 4 stops of light too fast. She shouldve been around 1/125, which wouldve made these about the right brightness.1/800 is for shooting like airplane or cars that are going super fast. Actually all three of her settings were totally incorrect."I have never once, until this incident, done a chargeback for a photographer. Ever. Not in any city or state I have ever lived This woman did not even notify her so called friends she was moving. She left town and blocked them. Do not hire this person if you want cherished memories. The lies are absolutely insane.
