I am 83 years old and can no longer lift 40lbs bags of salt for my water softener so I called Ackuritlabs in mid March of this year to see if I could get a water softener that did not use salt and the gentleman came out and sold me that did not use salt to replace the salt one that I had. After about a month my water was not soft so I took a sample to them and they told me to wait for 3 months because sometimes it takes that long for the softener to work. They told me they would call me back in 3 months and make sure it was working. They never called me back. So 4 months later, in July, I called them and was told they would send someone out the following Monday. No one ever came. So I had my son call them and they sent a technician out and he told me that I could not get soft water without salt. I told him that I would not have bought their piece of equipment had the man that recommended it told me that. They told my son that they would re-install my old salt softener for free. The technician said they would have to order parts to re-connect my old softener back up to enable me to have soft water again and he would have to come back to install my old salt softener. That was 3 weeks ago and i have heard nothing. I have hard water residue on everything and need to get his fixed. They told me that I would have to keep the equipment they sold me to use as back up. Could you advise me on how I can get this problem solved please?
