Visit on 11/9/2023, I visited the office because of a broken tooth. I was seen by a hygienist who did exray the tooth. I was then introduced to a female doctor who said unfortunately she was NOT licensed to practice in the state of ** and she was unable to help me that day. I was told that the receptionist would schedule an appointment for me when the dentist was available. The receptionist said it would be two months before the new dentist would arrive she offered an appointment. I refused saying I did want to leave the tooth unprotected and broken for two months! I left feeling like I had been deceived first by scheduling the appointment with someone who is NOT licensed to practice in the state of **, and secondly by being billed for a problem focused exam $131. With a person who couldnt possibly have correctly fit me with a temporary crown or anything else to protect my tooth. I have paid $45 for the exray, I dont feel I should pay $131, for the five minutes it took for the person to tell me she was NOT a licensed dentist in the state of *******. She sis nothing more than that.

I have dental insurance and have had previous appt with Tarpon. I went in for appt on 10/1323 and only scheduled work to be done as routine that my insurance covers. They kept the appt and after when went to leave informed me that my insurance was no longer accepted. They confirmed my appt couple times and checked me in for the appt on that day. Not one time was it brought to my attention that they no longer accept my insurance till after. They used trap tactic to try and get payment from me. I would like the charges dropped due to there bad business tactics because if I was informed ahead of time I would have done like I did and cancel future appt and find new dentist that takes my insurance.i have never had work done from this company that was not covered from my inaurance

On 08/22/22 I prepaid 873.00 for 2 crowns at the dentist. One was placed and the other delayed till 2023. The insurance was NOT billed for the second crown That left a credit on my account of $436.00. By Jan 2023 it was evident the crown was not a viable process and a refund was requested. Also in Dec 2022 i paid $140 for a routine cleaning and repeated my request for the refund, knowing the work would not be done. My insurance paid for my cleaning that added $140 to my credits. I have repeatedly requested the refunds. The office says refunds typically take 6-8 weeks. Then after repeated pleas to expedite they answered “ some take 3 to 4 months” they have passed both their own terms and have assured me “it is in the works” it is unconscionable that they have kept my $576.00 for 8 months without reason. Excuses of ‘we are working on it’ and “It’s a corporate matter” are their reasons now for 6 months. I’m 71 years old with a hurricane damaged house and that money is needed urgently.

      Good afternoon,

***** ***** is a patient of our Tarpon Shores Dental-Englewood location. ***** is a patient of Dr. ***** ****** This is a different office from where the complaint is listed under.

A refund was owed to ***** ***** in the amount of $576.90. The original refund request for $576.90 was submitted to the corporate office of Divergent Dental Group, LLC (Divergent Dental Group, LLC is the owner of Tarpon Shores Dental-Englewood) from the Tarpon Shores Dental-Englewood location on 3/7/23. On 4/10/23, ***** ***** presented in the Tarpon Shores Dental-Englewood office location confirming she received the electronic link to access the refund, however, she did not open the link in time, therefore the link had expired. An email was then sent from the Office Manager, Fran Monsen, on 4/10/23 to our accounting department to request that the link be re-sent to *****. A new link was sent to ***** on 4/11/23 from our accounting department. On 4/17/23, ***** contacted the Tarpon Shores Dental-Englewood office informing Fran that she was having difficulty again with the link and then requested that Divergent Dental issue her a paper check instead. On 4/18/23, Fran Monsen emailed the accounting department to check on the status of the refund. On 4/20/23 ***** emailed Tarpon Shores Dental-Englewood stating she was unhappy with the refund process. On 4/24/23 ***** emailed the Tarpon Shores Dental-Englewood office to inquire about the status of her refund. The Office Manager, Fran, spoke with ***** via phone this day, 4/24/23, to advise we were awaiting a response from corporate regarding sending ***** a check for the refund. On 4/27/23, it was found that a refund check was sent to *****, however, the address was incorrect and would need to be re-issued to correct address. On 5/2/23, ***** sent an email to Tarpon Shores Dental-Englewood to inform the team that the refund check was received.

Does anyone know what happened to the dental office called Tarpon Shores dental in ****** on ***************.,? My husband and I originally went to ****** dental Care located right before the circus bridge and the dentist there was a doctor ******* But then she quit and then that dental office changed its name within a two month period to Prime dental and then within a month from that it changed to Tarpon Shores dental. The original dental clinic messed up one of my teeth so bad by putting a crown on it and I think its destroyed my tooth but theyve changed their name three times within a matter of four months and now Im trying to get through to the dental clinic that bought them out which is Tarpon Shores dental yet I only get voicemail ************** is closed due to inclement weather!?I was there one time a month ago and it seems very chaotic in that dental office but I was going to call them back and try to make an appointment that they can look again at this crown as the original dental office put on my tooth and There is still a recording even as of this morning saying due to inclement weather the dental office is closed so please leave a voicemail and I tried to leave a voicemail and it says that the voicemail is not set up for this office.Has anyone else out there been a patient of Tarpon Shores dental on ***************?? Ive never seen such chaos with the original dental office I went to right before you go over the ************* in ****** it was on the right hand side I think it was called ****** dental care and thats the dental clinic that did the crown on my molar and messed it up pretty bad and then it changed to prime dental and then Tarpon Shores dental bought out prime dental within a month of that name existing. Ive never seen such chaos in my life with the dental clinic. For this dental clinic just to totally shut down and have an old voicemail.
