Contacted John at Palmer Electric for a Generac installation quote, but he kept dragging his feet. I called after a week and he still had not quoted the job. My husband called after two weeks, and John said that he needed pictures of the electrical panels, which my husband provided. At the 3 week mark, my husband called again, and first John said that he "had not gotten around" to our quote, yet, and needed "additional pictures," and he was about to hang up the line, so my husband asked what additional pictures he needed, but John was over it and hung up the line. I called back, and Jessica said they would not be able to complete the work, because they "would not be able to get the permits, passed." She could not explain why, but I'm assuming John was upset since he had previously sent us a quote for a hybrid water heater install, but his quote was so high that we decided to forgo the water heater upgrade, and return it to The Home Depot, but instead of acknowledging that, John told Jessica that we installed it un-permitted, which is not true. We returned the Hybrid water heater, unopened, to The Home Depot, since it would require a panel upgrade that would have cost thousands. I explained that to Jessica, but she said they still would not "bid" our generator install, so maybe John was racist, because otherwise it doesn't make any sense at all why they would refuse to quote a Generac installation for us for no valid reason.

Palmer Electric regrets that we were unable to meet this customer's expectations for a quote. While we dispute some of the facts in the complaint, it was apparent from the various conversations that we were not the right fit for this customer, and we wish them success with the vendor they choose. Suggesting our employee was racist is certainly an inappropriate and inflammatory remark.
